Yes, I felt that was also very unrealistic. If Halle Berry was giving ME a BJ, I'd be lucky if I could write my name in crayon.

:D LOL!

Think ACCS ???!!!!

ROFL!! Yeah, I got a good laugh reading on the NATO website where they said 69 months for software development of NATO ACCS and a cost of only 1.5 billion Euro. They will have about as much chance of meeting those goals as I have of a 69 with the aforementioned Ms Berry.

I worked on a project for a similar but (much, much) smaller ACCS style system for a European country in the late 1980's. At its height there were probably 50+ Software people on it, the project lasted about 6 years. It was an excellent example of how software complexity (and timescale and cost) can rise exponentially with project size.

your brain just hit a bad sector?

too bad if he did.. then a reboot would be required since the new MS tool, "check brain" needs exclusive access to fix..

I'd love to see the eyes roll back and drool come out until he boots back up.

:)

Thanks,

If anyone has come close to providing a community Dynamic Campaign it is SK....But the features are not in the game to allow it (mainly exports I believe).

A ED version is not planned unfortunately.

Why that was nice of you Gazehound, thanks for the plug.

Just so you know, hope isn't lost... ED has their own plans, and I've restarted from scratch on an improved version of a project that is alive and progressing on schedule. For an early demo, check our forum:

Thanks for interest!

Good news of the patch seems to be lost in this thread somewhere.

I agree. NHF Pilatus, but you hijacked the thread. If you want to share your views on programming, please move this to another thread. This thread has "patch info" in its title which I'm sure people are extremely anxious to read about. Don't know about others, but I for one don't want to go through 6 pages of non-related stuff about how ED programmers don't know jack about programming just to see if Wags or someone from ED released some more info. Besides, they probably find it insulting, I'm sure.
