Pyroflash Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 I recall another "mod" from ED that at times has people wound up. :D I am, of course, referring to FC. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
pixelpilot Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 as long as there is an active community then all tastes will be accounted for. I was hugely relieved when the Blackshark cockpit gained english labels i just need the manual to have all russian referances removed to make it read easier. Now that the game is a standalone base with aircraft modules would it not be possible to use the correct regional module if you are a stickler for realism? Next time i watch a martial arts film i'm gonna set it to its native language and turn off subtitles, it'll be more realistic that way, sod the fact that i wont have a clue whats going on!

It works to 90% But a "check box" option whould be phenomenal... Like we have checkboxes for infinite weapons and other "cheats"

Anyway, there's an option to select the cockpit language so there should be an option to select the audio language. To top it of, you'd have an option for label/text message language ... Problem solved.

Nice, one of the reason I never liked sports. And for those that don't understand Russian, Norwegian or body language - that guy was really abusive. Nice catch by NRK! I can't get my head around why people get upset that some of us wants to have the Russian voice/text. I mean, you have fun playing a game AND you learn a new language. That's the way it's always been for all of us that doesn't speak English as our native tongue??? DCS AJS37 HACKERMAN There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.
kobac Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 You are from English-speaking countries are too spoiled. Russian aircraft should have a Russian cockpit, and Americans planes with English labels. You should to learn a couple of phrases that speaks Bety and Natasa. It's not that hard. :smartass: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...

Tailgate Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 When I flew Flanker and FC2, I used all Russian symbology, it didn't take long to learn, sort of like learning a new avionics / weapons system. The hardest part was converting to metric, lol, but it was all relative once you got the numbers down.
marcos Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 It's the rates that caught me out in metric. The conversion is easy enough but you tend to judge descent by how fast the numbers are changing and with bigger units, it doesn't come first nature at first.
