track ir and videos

Hi,

Just wondering how many users here with track ir find themselves trying to look around the cockpit of the a10c when watching another users video of flights when in full screen.:doh:

Happens to me all the time, even with my own vids. I laugh everytime. :D

Or when you just quickly fire up the sim to check something, not bothering to start TIR, and sit there nodding at the screen like an idiot expecting the camera to move. :D

i've even tried to look at stuff off screen when watching tv. nobody has ever noticed or at least they've been polite enough not to say anything.

Always. And not just gameplay videos. Earlier I was watching an airshow video on youtube and the camera barely kept up with the jet passing leaving it at the edge of view. I noticed myself trying to use my magic trackir again. :doh:

I find myself doing it when playing non track ir supported games like battlefield 3. So annoying.

I only got TIR three days ago and yes I already do this even though I have only a few hours clocked with TIR xD

I always catch myself trying to click switches in the cockpit and pushing the center view button on my hotas when the camera movers watching videos as well.

OMG! I seriously thought I was the only one who was crazy enough to let this happen to him. Good to see I´m not alone in this! :D

Yeah, that gets me all the time. It's even worse when you turn your head and the guy in the video turns in a totally different direction at the same time - totally disorienting.

My hand has also wound up on the joystick. What's even more strange is when the video moves where my head did following by another direction. :joystick:

I always get surprised when driving my car, and all the powerwindows starts acting all crazy. Guess its my left hand trying to apply the airbrake and flaps :pilotfly:
