sotosev Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 Got it! Seems that updates work only for small issues! secret1962 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Please explain "Both" This new update to DCS World provides a set of new features and fixes. The most important of which is the new auto updater that will now automatically update your DCS World files without having to download entire new versions and manually install.
shagrat Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 well, I guess he means both options: If you need to install on a new PC you have the full download 1.2.2 available on DCS Website, thus no need to install 1.2.1 and do an auto-update orgy as well as auto-update for installed version 1.2.1 for convenient upgrade to 1.2.2 without the need to do a re-install. Nirvi Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Please explain "Both" I guess if you already have DCS World 1.2.1 installed, the autoupdater will get you to version 1.2.2. But you also can download the complete 1.2.2 Version as usual from the website, in case you want to do a complete reinstall or haven't update to DCS World yet. €: Sniped Serious uglies Discord 4YA - Project Overlord WW2 Server My DCS Videos

joey45 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Might of been better if sotosev said. When 1.2.2. is out instead of if 1.2.2. is out The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Cyb0rg Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 It is not. It was a question directed at a future state of affairs. Please explain "future" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asteroids ____________________________________________ Update this :D
159th_Viper Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Please explain "future" The future is the indefinite time period after the present. Its arrival is considered inevitable due to the existence of time and the laws of physics. Due to the nature of reality and the unavoidability of the future, everything that currently exists and will exist can be categorized as either permanent, meaning that it will exist for the whole of the future or temporary, meaning that it won't and thus will come to an end. *Above excerpt brought to you courtesy of Google and Wikipedia 1 Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? shagrat Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 :megalol: ...scientists believe the future is not a predictable line of events, but constantly changing and shaping itself. This gives a meaning to Wags' "everything is subject to change" statement! :D Shagrat - Flying Sims since 1984 - Win 10 | i5 10600K@4.1GHz | 64GB | GeForce RTX 3090 - Asus VG34VQL1B | TrackIR5 | Simshaker & Jetseat | VPForce Rhino Base & VIRPIL T50 CM2 Stick on 200mm curved extension | VIRPIL T50 CM2 Throttle | VPC Rotor TCS Plus/Apache64 Grip | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals | WW Top Gun MIP | a hand made AHCP | 2x Elgato StreamDeck (Buttons galore)

joey45 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Please explain "future" It is neither the present or the past but beyond an ever evolving corundum.. WildBillKelsoe Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I finally downloaded 1.2.1 and tonight, I'll perform my first startup, takeoff, landing and post a vid to my channel. I'll try to execute WEP and fiddle around abit with the engine. Every update is an entirely different bird (same one but more modelled). I'll try to make it an old movie style (for exteriors) and faded colors movie for interiors... figers crossed. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
