What different airplane types are in this film?

Mirage2000 I think I could recognise, but I think there are also some other planetypes. Maybe a Sepecat jaguar?

Ya, i did think i saw a jaguar, but wasnt 100% sure.

Do french aircraft allow crash revovery? Because they fly like they do! :)

If you have ever flown a helicopter in a sim like msfs or read something about flying helicopters you'll atleast know one thing; You need to apply pedal to counter torq when you increase the collective, this man didn't :icon_jook

Great stuff. I remember back in the 80s here over Germany, I could still witness low-level flights frequently - and the French were contributing a lot to that ;)

These are also nice videos to counter the popular "rooster tail" myth:

...there is certainly an effect on the water surface, but not quite as cheesy as in these images ;)

What would happen if one were to break the soundbarrier while a couple feet above water?

Well.. whether the French have laws or not.. I wanna know why only the Frensh seem to fly low.. and why do they all fly the same thing?

I like when he's flying down the road and looks over at a guy. "WTF!" ahaha

its on patricksaviation.com file is called french_low2.avi, it features M2000B, Jaguar and Etendard.
Nope, no Etendard in there, but Mirage F1, Mirage 2000 and Jaguar.

There's a vid of a Tomcat doing it - the shockwave does interact with the water, but not really impressively.

The French . . . . perhaps they pay their pilots so well that they can all afford video cameras?

I could say that it's because they're French, but that'd probably get me in trouble :p
