But heck, you need to be when smuggling arms to African countries, lol, I bet this was Victor Bout airlines at their best. ;) Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
peterj Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Has this been up? Of all the Armée de l'Air movies iv'e seen this is the best one, these guys are hilarious :) Great soundtrack to. http://www.wimp.com/altitudefour/
britgliderpilot Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 I don't bloody BELIEVE that!! Do the French HAVE rules about low flying? I swear some of those pictures could have been out of the window of a car . . . . . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg

They still get massive style points for doing it in a 4-turboprop Russian freighter, though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg

Caretaker Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Great stuff. I remember back in the 80s here over Germany, I could still witness low-level flights frequently - and the French were contributing a lot to that ;) These are also nice videos to counter the popular "rooster tail" myth: ...there is certainly an effect on the water surface, but not quite as cheesy as in these images ;) Caretaker ED Beta Test Team
Harven Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 What would happen if one were to break the soundbarrier while a couple feet above water? Well.. whether the French have laws or not.. I wanna know why only the Frensh seem to fly low.. and why do they all fly the same thing? I like when he's flying down the road and looks over at a guy. "WTF!" ahaha
Woodstock Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 its on patricksaviation.com file is called french_low2.avi, it features M2000B, Jaguar and Etendard.Nope, no Etendard in there, but Mirage F1, Mirage 2000 and Jaguar. "For aviators like us, the sky is not the limit - it's our home!"

"WTF!" ahaha There's a vid of a Tomcat doing it - the shockwave does interact with the water, but not really impressively. The French . . . . perhaps they pay their pilots so well that they can all afford video cameras? I could say that it's because they're French, but that'd probably get me in trouble :p http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/britgliderpilot/BS2Britgliderpilot-1.jpg
Guest EVIL-SCOTSMAN Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 ok i will say it for you, ITS BECAUSE THERE FRENCH, there is that better ;)
