I mean a title like A-10C and BS

Vote we might convince ED to give it a shot!

1) Not intrested

2)SU-25

The basic version of the aircraft was produced at Factory 31, at Tbilisi, in the Soviet Republic of Georgia. Between 1978 and 1989, 582 single-seat Su-25s were produced in Georgia, not including aircraft produced under the Su-25K export program. This variant of the aircraft represents the backbone of the Russian Air Force's Su-25 fleet, currently the largest in the world.

The aircraft experienced a number of accidents in operational service caused by system failures attributed to salvo firing of weapons. In the wake of these incidents, use of its main armament, the 240 mm S-24 missile, was prohibited. In its place, the FAB-500 500 kg general-purpose high-explosive bomb became the primary armament.

3)Su-25T

The Su-25T (Tankovy) is a dedicated antitank version, which has been combat-tested with notable success in Chechnya.[15] The variant was converted to one-seater, with the rear seat replaced by additional avionics.[50] It has all-weather and night attack capability. In addition to the full arsenal of weapons of the standard Su-25, the Su-25T can employ the KAB-500Kr TV-guided bomb and the semi-active laser-guided Kh-25ML.Its enlarged nosecone houses the "Shkval" optical TV and aiming system with the "Prichal" laser rangefinder and target designator. It can also carry "Vikhr" laser-guided, tube-launched missiles. For night operations, the low-light TV "Merkuriy" pod system can be carried under the fuselage. Three Su-25Ts prototypes were built in 1983–86 and 8 production aircraft were built in 1990.

4)Su-25TM (Su-39)

A second-generation Su-25T, the Su-25TM (also designated Su-39), has been developed with improved navigation and attack systems, and better survivability. While retaining the built-in "Shkval" of Su-25T, it may carry "Kopyo" (rus. "Spear") radar in the container under fuselage, which is used for engaging air targets (with RVV-AE/R-77 missiles) as well as ships (with Kh-31 and Kh-35 antiship missiles). The Russian Air Force has received only 8 so far.[50] However, some of the improved avionics systems designed for T and TM variants have been included in the Su-25SM, an interim upgrade of the operational Russian Air Force Su-25, resulting in superior survivability and combat capability.

5)Su-25KM

The SU-25KM (Kommercheskiy Modernizirovannyy), nicknamed "Scorpion", is an Su-25 upgrade programme announced in early 2001 by the original manufacturer, Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing in Georgia, in partnership with Elbit Systems of Israel. The prototype aircraft made its maiden flight on 18 April 2001 at Tbilisi in full Georgian Air Force markings.

The aircraft uses a standard Su-25 airframe, enhanced with advanced avionics including a glass cockpit, digital map generator, helmet-mounted display, computerised weapons system, complete mission pre-plan capability, and fully redundant backup modes. Performance enhancements include a highly accurate navigation system, pinpoint weapon delivery systems, all-weather and day/night performance, NATO compatibility, state-of-the art safety and survivability features, and advanced onboard debriefing capabilities complying with international requirements. It has the ability to use Mark 82 and Mark 83 laser guided bombs and R-73 AA-11 Archer short-range missiles

All of them. As stated before (or maybe not) I'd buy pretty much anything on A-10C level (except for the helicopters, that's just not my thing for some reason). If I was to choose - the TM, it's even more flexible than T.

I'd vote for the TM, which would bring it's avionics up to par w/ the A-10C.

...but before any of that... multi-seat support. Give me an Apache with two human playable positions, simultaneously and both aspects modeled. PLEASE! and and F-15E with both seats modeled and playable with 2 humans simultaneously.

Another high-detail attack plane would be great, the SU-25 seems like a good option, a bit more flexible than the A-10C. I'd vote for TM/KM partly just in the interest of keeping it around the same timeframe as DCS A-10C. What with combined arms, FC3, and such in DCS world, having planes which make realistic sense involved in combat together seems like a good plan.

Yes. This.

The "SM" is the one ya want...

Su-25SM: Russian Air Forces decided to upgrade about 40 per cent of surviving Su-25s (about 80 aircraft) in March 1999. Single-seaters will be modified to Su-25SM standards; two-seaters to Su-25UBM configuration; new variant uses some equipment and systems developed for Su-25TM (Su-39). Su-25SM features Panther fire-control system with Kopyo-25 radar in a rebuilt nose (not pod-mounted, as on Su-25TM), giving compatibility with a wider range of air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons; Klen PS laser range-finder is relocated below fuselage. Revised cockpit with a new HUD and two large colour LCD MFDs, but retains standard analogue flight instruments. Irtysh EW system, with new RWR, MAWS and automatic control of chaff and flares. Structural changes limited to life-extension modifications and provision for nose-mounted radar. Sukhoi Shturmovik Consortium promises improved maintainability and a service life extended to 2,500 flying hours.

Nothing against the Su-25, but there are too many other upcoming modules that I am interested in right now. The A-10 would have been in the same boat for me had it come out in reverse order from a high-fi Su-25 module.

(of course if it went on a $10 sale like the P-51 did, I would pretty much buy it no matter what.)

25T, TM. Skorpion is dead because of War in Georgia. Frogfoots factory has been destroyed.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Plenty of these is just outdated. No radar, no TV\FLIR por. No new anti tank weapons. Nothing so far 13 years after modernization started.

It would be awesome to have more DCS-level Russian anything, but for my own part I would probably pass, though mostly out of time/brain space limitations as opposed to lack of interest: I'm really jonesing for a fighter, and a second CAS aircraft would have to take a backseat.

On the other hand, if the stock "Freefoot" is any indication, a lot of Ka-50 stuff might transfer over...

For when it goes wrong: Win10x64, GTX1080, Intel i7 @3.5 GHz, 32GB DDR3, Warthog HOTAS, Saitek combat rudder pedals, TrackIR 5 / Vive Pro, a case of Pabst, The Funk

I voted all because I would but... it doesn't mean that I personally would do it in day one and all modules at once. I prefer... or maybe I should say... my wallet prefers to buy this things especially when a promotion is on the role and never more than one for one month let's say.

Also... I wouldn't pay anything in advanced. Green startup etc. I am definitely against those schemes as there is no clear boundaries between support/respect for a given developer and abuse of the scheme from it. People... "once they see their sacks in the cart tend to have severe drop in motivation" and tend to delay finishing for all sorts of motifs and rationalizations what they said will do. I know that if people would not pay in advanced for supporting some projects those projects might not exist at all but... imho... is better this way.

For example: I will not buy the Huey in day one it will go out but definitely some day later. But in case of Mig21 I will buy it in day one... although I would not have payed for it in advance.

Just my opinion, but I'd have to disagree. The SM program replaced the TM only because SM is simply a more affordable program. Affordable meaning it doesn't include all the bells and whistles and the better survivability of the TM. The TM would be what the Russians would want if money wasn't an object.

"Hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky; With hideous ruin and combustion down;
To bottomless perdition, there to dwell; In adamantine chains and penal fire"

(RIG info is outdated, will update at some point) i5 @3.7GHz (OC to 4.1), 16GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 970 4GB, TrackIR 5 & TrackClip Pro, TM Warthog HOTAS, VKB T-Rudder Mk.IV, Razer Blackshark Headset, Obutto Ozone

yeah i agree, the SM is lesser than TM but its cheaper and its what Russian Air Force is using and will be using ..so in the spirit of flying a Russian Air Force CAS i would choose SM even though TM is better ..

i rather fly something that is really flown in real life than some prototype that was discarded..

Same situation is with BS, .. Russian Air Force has rather decided to concentrate on the Black Shark 52 -which is a twin seater than the one seater..

But have no qualms flying the BS one seater, its great chopper and first simulation of co-axial chopper... for that we can be grateful to ED of making it to our virtual world..
