Looking like DCS won't be working on my system. FC2 works fine. But after 3 hours downloading and another hour installing, I turned all graphics down to minimum. Nothing but a stuttering mess. I have a ATI Radeon 4550 HD with 2300+mg vid ram, but only 3.1 system ram which is probably the problem. That really sucks! Looks like the dream of flying with peeps is over....again.

 

I sure miss the days of Janes USAF online, damn that was fun. Anyone have a system they would like to donate to me? lol

I miss those days also, I had a lot of fun with all the different jets.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Welcome Cpt. I was wondering what a "True" Pilot would think of this software, compared to the real thing.

 

Do you feel the systems are modeled well?

 

Are the Flight Dynamics anywhere equal to the real thing? (I actualy got air sick from this title when i first started flying)

 

When using FC2 do you feel you can get lost in the virtual flying to the point of feeling you are actualy in a jet?

 

What improvements would you make to the software? with emersion in mind.

This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig. How do you get airsick from a screen in front of you?

 

 

Emersion I guess.

 

One time in Japan they played a cartoon that had alot of Color and fast moving characters that filled the ERs in that country.

 

If you look at the "Small Print" in game packets you will see a disclaimer for Siezures. even the XBox and PS3 have them.

 

Remember the storys of gamers passing away after long bouts of gaming at lan partys?

I can't have someone that was in "Meet the Parents" acting as me! I was eating ants for survival! The ants deserve better than Owen Wilson! Geesh!

As for the Hog, You think I'm stupid? If I wanted to fly ever again, I said to my family it will be "digitally" AND I would be in a titanium bathtub at the same time. No more d*mn SA-6 Buks which means low level flying also. :music_whistling:

I bet it did, they had 105 airburst rounds (anti personnel) by then didn't they. I have seen writings about Taliban being shell shocked for months, some still because of of the Spectre. They sure poked the wrong bear when they decided to come out of them hills 9/11.

In firestrike 7/9 Bommer describes being protected by a barrage from an AC-130. Pretty dramatic even when you're lying in bed reading about it! :D

The real O'Grady ran for the Texas Senate last year so ... unlikely that he still lives in Brooklyn, where he was born. Thus, this ain't him.

Alright Scott,

 

If it really is you, please post a picture of you sitting at your sim rig playing FC2, looking at the camera, giving a thumbs-up. Make sure you as well as your rig are in full view.
