9.JG27 DavidRed Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 still new to this sim, and right now i have much fun just to land the crate!:)
HiJack Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 (edited) Good landing David. To make things even more enjoyable you can simulate a failure of the HUD and MFCD's (edit mission in singleplayer) and land trough the fog again Edited September 13, 2016 by HiJack
9.JG27 DavidRed Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 thx!and thats a great idea,...i dont use the hud anyway while doing ILS landings. But how can i select the airport i when the right MFCD is not available?
Yurgon Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 Nice landing there! In the fog, I usually get bored, speed up, and overshoot the damn runway (that is, if I even find it in the first place). :)
Evil.Bonsai Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 This is the first sim I've played and ever even attempted to land via instruments. This my first. Need to practice some more. Thing is, I was so happy after this I didn't want to ruin any further attempts by crashing, again. My first, and only ILS landing. 1

The LT Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Nice landing, David. Also got the sim two weeks ago and the first thing I did after a couple of VFR flights is land the damn thing in the rain and fog. Even managed to do it on the first try using ILS. Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 It's indeed a great simulation platform! Now get the BS and the p51d! Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
Rongor Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Guys, why on earth do you listen constantly to the morse ID? Just listen to the ID once when preparing the receiver to verify correct frequency and then mute it. Instrument approaches are a difficult task to accomplish. You really don't need beeping distractions that bring absolutely no information anymore at the time you establish the localizer. ;)
DarkMellie Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 im slowly getting an idea of combat employment... Awesome video man, that's great! 1 DCS 161 (Recce) Squadron [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
