HD Su-25t Cockpit - Fix Airport listings on Pilot thigh

 

Hello,

Great work has been done on adaptation of my pits to BS2 and world.

 

Love all your work, as well as the other contributors on the Shark and the Su-25t pits, but there is one small detail I would like fixed on the HD SU-25T Blue Pit v2.

 

 

The Airports listed on the Pilots right thigh pad:

 

• Don't have the correct names as listed in the official Su-25T Airport listings.
  
• Don't have the correct official Airport ID's assigned to them.
  
• Map on thigh could also be changed to show the new official listings, but not imperative.
  

 

Fix as per this example but in a blue pilots flight suit would be appreciated.

Is the blue pit any more/less accurate or realistic than the default black one? I like the idea of a blue pit as it is what I'm fondly used to of Russian aircraft.

Seems the exact same quality as the black one, but I find it much more enjoyable and easier to see buttons and gauges better.

 

The blue color also has a more calming quality.

 

Highly recommend it to anyone.

Okay, now I am confused.

I would like to use Ricardo's blue pit changes, but I have some noob questions:

1. Is Ricardo's KA 50 textures a standalone mod or do you use them with after you install the black pit HD mod?

2. If you have to install the black HD mod first, is it Devrim's V1.2x or Ricardo's apparently older Black HD mod?

3. Can I install Devrim's V1.2x black pit, then use Ricardo's blue texture mod?

4. Ricardos blue changes mod appears to be newer than Devrim's G-Blue pit and therefore, should Ricardo's mod be used [assuming you like the colors of both pits]?

 

Perhaps the simplest thing would be if someone would simply list the mods in the order needed to obtain a blue HD cockpit. I think it is easier to see everything in with the blue cockpit, but I am just confused as to what mods to use and in what order.

Hi.

 

There's no any order. You don't have to install a mod, and after install another mod. All mods are independent from each other. May be, some mods need little fixes later.

 

I think you want to install a blue mod, right? Then you should just install Ricardo's Blue Pit. It's the best blue mod to me. Thus, your previous problems are solved.

 

If you have futher questions, please feel free to ask.

 

* You may need this (compass) fix for Ricardo's pit.

* Check your mirrors. If they seem broken, you can apply this (mirrors) fix. :)

Thanks for the quick response. Do I need the ADF Channel mod? What about the English cue mod for the Hud, shkval, etc ?

Did you get the green Shkval to work with the Blue pit? I cannot seem to get it to work. Otherwise, everything else seems to be working.

Hi Sobe,

 

I have it working in the HD mod, I'm assuming it would be the same file structure.

 

DCSWorld 1.2.4 file structure has changed since this mod. You don't install to AvionicsCommon file anymore.

 

Here is the file you need to put both bmp into.

 

DCSWorld>Mods>aircrafts>Ka-50>Cockpit>Resources>IndicationTextures.

 

Don't forget to back them up before swapping them over.

Hi Sobe.

 

1) Ah, sorry. That's knob mod. That was a little fix about ADF knob. The white point on the knob was placed wrong (opposite) position. I placed it to right point. That's it. I think it would be better to apply it.

 

3) You could extract the "Mods.zip" file into DCS World folder and overwrite. It would be OK automatically. It's good, If you've already solved it.

 

4) I downloaded Nrgized's MVG Mod, but not installed yet. Now, I use default NVG feature. :)
