Andrew Dodd, AMD's Catalyst guru, tells us a variant of the Catalyst 13.2 beta driver we tested will be released via AMD's website next week. That should be a nice first step toward shoring up Radeon performance compared to the competition

For More Info on Why 13.2 is Important?

It's the First Driver with the partial Re-Write of the Driver for GCN instead of VLIW5 Architecture.

What does that Mean?

Better Frame Latencies, or basically Less Stutter, Flickering and Frame Jumping.

Souce/Docs/Demonstration?

I wouldnt recommend using the leaked press preview drivers,

in fact several AMD employees/members that post on forums said the same thing.

I'm just going to make this font really big so everyone reads this:

THE LEAKED BETA 13.2 IS AN UNFINISHED DRIVER SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO TEST FRAME LATENCY, WITH NO FINAL QA COMPLETED ON ANYTHING ELSE IN THE DRIVER. PLUS OTHER GOODIES INTENDED FOR THE REAL 13.2 ARE MISSING. DO NOT INSTALL IT.

Please keep these F'd up links off this site. You don't do anyone favors by posting them.

Sorry, but people can read the thread (or F'd up link) and decide for themselves. Who made you the nanny of everyone?

Skate did you selectively edit that quote or what? You left off the last part of the post.

Many of us do actually understand the concept of beta drivers and like to test.

Didnt get alot of time last night with it, but so far, it feels Alot smoother (frame Latencies), less jerky motion, even at 60 Fps, specially in the side monitors.

Have given these a quick test in my 1 Ghz flashed 7970 and PLPL setup (all I fly is DCSW BS)

As Skatezilla said, I noticed it to be smoother in my side monitors with these drivers. I was hoping these gains would allow me to run with my mirrors enabled, but they push the system back into the 'choppy' range at times. I also noticed the return of the mini-stutters in the side monitors.

13.1 (and these) drivers have been good for my pit and I am loving the PLPL setup.

Exchanged 13.1 for 13.2 last night, definite improvement on my 7970 @ 6040 x 1080 (not so much on fps, 25 - 35 at base, 35 - 45 airborne, good enough for me though, could be better ), seems to run much smoother ?
