Running latest here, no problems at all.

Check your options for conflicting button/axis mapping.

Also check for crosswinds and weapon load out. Fly clean and empty with NO wind or Turbulence to narrow down your problem.

This is correct, and there is a long thread about it somehwere.

But to sum it up. Learn to trim. You should trim, trim, trim all the time.

For some FFB sticks, you'll need to enable an option in the settings that's labeled something like force tuning that click something like "swap axis". I'm sorry I don't remember the exact names, I don't have the game available ATM, but hopefully I described it well enough to help you get it done.

Mod correct me if iam wrong :

the problem where the plane move towards left/right after ( taking OFF or after firing missile or bomb )

as much i understand this happen due to extra weight on ONE side.

SUGGESTION:

when ever you face that problem , TRIM your plane towards left or right.its just simple matter of PRESSING A BUTTON

He already said he is using the trim, why would you suggest it again while trying to make it sound like he doesn't know what trimming is?

Toby, i think the setting Rico is talking about is the "Force Feedback Enabled" checkbox in the Misc. tab on the options screen. Make sure that is checked. Double check your joystick calibration outside of the sim and then check all your axis assignments in the sim to make sure you don't have any extra inputs coming from other controllers.

After the forces have been enabled, there's another issue that causes trim forces to move the stick in the wrong direction, but the "swap axis" should fix that. Then again, g940 users have been having additional issues with stick forces, but I'm pretty sure there's workarounds for it.

The problem is that FFB is bugged right now. Maybe fixed in the next patch...maybe!

I dont have FF activated and have the same issue in all single player missions. Right after takeoff the plane goes hard to the left.

So after take off befor raising the gear I press 4 times "trimm to right" and it fits nearly. After airborne I set throttle to around 90% and .... right ... trimm again.

Trimmining ... trimming ..... if you sit in your car on a red light start fiddeling on your nose .. in A-10 always if nothingh to do start trimming :)

Asymmetrical loadout? When I take off, mostly the plane rolls to the right

I rather miss how in LOMAC it would tell you how asymmetrical your loadout was.

And let you see the actual aircraft with the weapon on it.

You can see your loadout in DCS World as well. Besides nearly every A-10 loadout is asymmetric. ;)

Not in the same way you could in LOMAC. There, it was an actual 3D model of your aircraft that you could spin around and see your ordinance on the aircraft itself.

Tobyeez,

I have the G940 as well. Do you have outside views enabled? I do as sometimes I just like to watch the plane flying, it is rendered so well. I ask because i have noticed that my rudder pedals with the G940 have an odd quirk. If I never move them, I am okay, but sometimes, if I bump my pedals, my rudders don't go back to center, but adjust as if I am always inputting some right pedal. I can't quite figure out why this happens, but I end up flying with slight left rudder the entire time.

This may not be your case, and I am still learning and don't know how to trim. Seems to me the A-10 always handles pretty well and I have no problems minus this strange rudder problem.

Oh yeah, the only reason I asked about outside view is that is how I was able to identify that the rudders don't stay on center.

I too am having a trimming issue with the G940.

When I press the trim command "right" it trims the stick forward. I have just remapped my trim to the correct directions after watching which commands do what.

It also seems somewhat slow, as in you have to hold down the trimmer for a few seconds to get any effect, and it only trims a few degrees instead of being able to trim fully to any one direction.

You can use control + enter to see the control input screen.

Here you can see how your plane is trimmed and the position dcs thinks your stick is at. Dont forget to also check the position/trim of your rudders.

If this is pointing to the left there is probably something with your trim or stick.

If the stick is at fault you can re-calibrate it in your windows device settings.

It could also have to do with asymmetrical fuel.
