Has the gun smoke stutter issue been resolved?

 

What changes besides gun smoke has been corrected/partially corrected?

DD/51st/ etc... have you guys changed to 1.2.3?? (Addressing VFW's directly involved with P-51) Can you give feedback to experiences here in this thread?

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Gun smoke stutter is definitely better for me. I only had a brief go at the Sitting Ducks mission last night and was able to do some low level strafing on the 7 ground targets with a good deal less stutter.

Fps drop during firing guns is still a lot but at least i dont notice too much sttuter. There is need to test it online casue in 1.2.2 there were heavy sttuters during firing guns

Seems to me like 1.2.2 firing stutters were binded to firing itself, now it looks like stutters are caused by projectiles ricocheting from the ground. But the good side is that it is less noticable than in 1.2.2...

believe me, the AI shooting at you from P-51's did that too. Still waiting for conclusive feedback.

After just a short SP flight last night I am noticing significant improvement with my rig. Load times are much better than they were and nearly no lag when firing. Hoping MP is the same.

Still a fps problem for me when firing, damn crossfire card :(

I can confirm that gunnery A-G has been somewhat resolved. Waiting to test A-A gunnery and further server testing with multiple P-51s for final. Additionally, game loading time has been significantly reduced. Well done, ED.

Is it me or is the cannonballs eliminated? I see the tracers as red now.
