Sorry to keep giving you extra work but have you thought about adding dead flies? A few squished bugs on the screen would be even more imersive imo.

AFAIK, LockOnFiles has a similar approval process to ED, which probably explains it not being available there yet.

There's few minutes I've installed your Winshield Scratches V3.0and I choosen the file: All-in-one.

Just one word: INCREDIBLE AND PERFECT !!!!

Now I can't fly with my Huey without your file, congratulation for this present and for this sharing...

Great Mod, the difference is rather subtle but it adds a great amount of depth since you now have visual cues to tell you about the windshield.

Before it was more like sitting in an open frame.

we can see less or more scrachtes and staining depending of lighting , great and fine , thx .

 

The main point here is that I've used Alpha channel instead of painting colors on texture.

And I really missing those scratches implemented in FC2 with shader.

Are there any cockpit glazing reflections associated with the Huey yet? I seem to remember noticing some before the last patch but now there's nothing. Its like I'm flying a heli with no windows.

 

I've been flying the P51 a bit recently maybe I'm transposing the glass reflections from there.

If just features could be dynamic, that would be awesome. Some for rain. Imagine if you get into a shower of rain and then land in the dry land, would be awesome to get those effects dynamic. Wishing.

Effects like that have been present in FSX and racing games/sims for years, ROF has dynamic oil and rain on goggles effects. There's no real reason why we couldn't see them in DCS.

IMHO the reason is apparent - outdated engine...
