Here you have the lua file (I hope there´s no problem to upload it). Please remind that all credits go to Deck, who made the original file. I just edited it to remove the message with remaining enemies in the LZs and added my LZs and pilots namings

jdkirk904, I don´t understand what you need :( Practicing the procedures can be done by using the checklist included in the manual or any other on the web. Use my mission indeed to tune radios cause I have included all: UHF, AM and FM with several freqs as briefing describes. It´s really simple anyway and you can memorize it after a couple of days flying if you repeat it everytime you play ;)

Our gameplay available here:

AT one point around the 7:30 mark, when the 3 of you swept along the road, and suddenly the middle chop comes screaming through guns blazing, absolutely fantastic!

Also some of the tight formation flying at the start was impressive, enjoyed the video mate!

I see in the description, it states this takes a while to load. Roughly ow long is a while, I only ask as one of our members has less than 1mb Internet, so on missions with lots of music it has been known to take him 30+ mins to load.

firstly ... fantastic mission ... really atmospheric, the feel of going into a hot LZ is great ... but is there any way to move the troops that you deploy from the hueys .. you can command the pre-deployed troops and vehicles, but not the ones you drop off .. they just seem to stand there and take fire

cheers

Ok maybe I'm dum, but I've flown to every LZ, and it just says I'm not in a drop off or pickup point.

Help, where on earth do I take these troops. I pick them up the blue smoke, but I have no idea where to take them

I'm not at my computer at the moment but the town that is held by insurgents has red smoke. You need to drop the troops within "x" amount of meters of the red smoke. The distance in meters is listed in the briefing. Hope that helps.

Is it possible to reset a server without being an admin?

There is only one server up with the HueyDrop mission running, but it's completed and won't restart.

Cowboy, you have to take them to the red smoke area ... the town you have to take ..i cant remember the name but its across the bay .. if you look on the f10 map you can see some enemy troops there

Thanks guys, yep found it eventually, when I flew over it, and promptly got a fireworks display.

Don't use F10, so spent the first hr, flying around aimlessly, and then the last 45 mins, dodging and diving when the whole world lit up. :)

Damn fun going into the hot LZ, However, I hope the family's of my Door Gunner and co pilot , get over their loss. :)

Can't wait to try it again tomorrow, but this time, we know where to go. :)

Fantastic mission.

Thanks for the offer mate, I'm out today as going to play with a real Huey, and then back at work tomorrow.

If all goes well Should be flying about 21:00 tonight, with my teammates and you are more than welcome to join us.

Sadly due to family commitments, we only get 1 hr flying a day. :(

Mission updated to v1.06. Now it´s much lighter (2.5Mb) as I have removed part of the radio chatter that made it so heavy to load. Also corrected some of the LZs and wind for better formation landings. Pending to be approved by moderator on the download section

Hi, Cool Mission!

But i have a question, maybe its in all Missions?

Wenn im on a FARP or Airfield, a little bit damaged, im turing the Engines off, and leaving the Battery in. Then i hit the Radio Button go to the GroundStaff Menu and press "repair". Then i see in the upper/left Corner of the Window "request Repair" but nothing happens? How long must i wait? Or what i am doing wrong?

Is there also a Tut. about the Music Radio? i have turned the correct MHZ but i dont hear anything...

thanks!
