Search is your friend. A thread many pages long already exists on this subject. Yes I did it and it was included in the spelling fixes I did for ED. I like it, they choose to include it but I think it will be removed in future releases.

 

I like it too- actually. I hope there is an option to keep them.

 

Oh and Paul... in their defense about the search I know about that thread and went hunting for that it but I remember it had a bit of a weird title and I couldn't find it. I was going to link to it- but came up empty. Granted, I didn't hunt down for too long but someone not knowing what they're looking for may have came away empty handed as well.

The important question is whether that is a Suite 3 aircraft. Which, IIRC, it is not.

After seeing this for the first time, I thought it was a texture error or a corrupt file or a hack.

 

I was going to reinstall. :cry:

 

From everything I'm reading here it appears that this is a change made by DCS to match the realism of the A10-C.

No, at the time it was suite 5.

 

I swear though, all the items people can complain about (this is thread 3 or 4 now) and this is what they choose :doh:

Probably because it looks more like a texture glitch than a hand drawn scribe. Trying to replicate something so handmade on a pc is a bit of a stretch especially when it is on the screen 99% of the time and you're so close to it. My pointless opinion is that it reduces the realistic look of the pit in the attempt to be too realistic.

So I should take A peice of Green Paper and Use a Black Marker to Write the Letters,

 

Put the Paper in my Scanner, Scan It, Set Photoshop to Green Screen Transparency,

 

And Paste into the Template for the Panels

 

Bam, No Mo Funky Looking Hand Writing :)

 

But it looks fine to me, so I wont.

 

and it would be easier to use my Touch Pen and just Write directly into PhotoShop.

If it wasn't for nitpicking like this, how else would we know how much everyone knows about everything?
