Shadowowweosa Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The answer to your video. Only: one flight, one video, one pilot))))
Abburo Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Congrats, linked maneuvers have been executed very well. One question: the whole flight from inside cockpit? Romanian Community for DCS World HW Specs: AMD 7900X, 64GB RAM, RTX 4090, HOTAS Virpil, MFG, CLS-E, custom
zaelu Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 So in 1.2.7 we get the slick version of Mi-8? :D Was that flight in "simulation" mode or "game" mode? For sure a real Mi-8 would had break and crashed a few times isn't it? Impressive flying nonetheless! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least

Zarni Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) So in 1.2.7 we get the slick version of Mi-8? :D Hope so, but looks like that is only "arg-modification". There are still few pylon parts and front armor plates left. Add these lines in the description.lua: custom_args = { [457] = 1.0, -- EVU off [215] = 1.0, -- Left Pylon off [225] = 1.0, -- Right Pylon off } Edited November 11, 2013 by Zarni Added Left and Right for Pylon args Everything is possible except skiing through revolving doors.
default762792 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 (edited) Four views of the same event. It's not perfect, but it's more or less a loop, and I didn't break the helicopter (until my second attempt during the same flight). Sim mode, 25% fuel, all done from within the cockpit. I used the technique I hazily recalled from the Ka-50 - dive to maximum speed, climb while gradually maxing out the collective, drop collective to zero at the apex of the loop, try to keep centered on the exit. Nice Aeroflot skin by kolyakar, by the way. Edited November 13, 2013 by default762792
