Milli; Thanks so much for your attention.

Yes actually, I need a global solution like FireVehicle.lua or FlatSmokeCloud.lua. But I tried many things on them countless times. If I'm not wrong, the "life" expression tells how long fire texture will visible. It's same for smoke, but it doesn't change (increase) the duration of burning event.

I'll work on individual units, but -as you said- it may take really long time to edit and seems it's not practical way to do.

Thank you again. :)

Devrim, check the Combined Objects mod I put together here I made an object in there called smoker that when destroyed will burn for 1 hour. When I build missions, I spawn this on objects that I wish to burn for longer and explode it via triggers.

This was much easier to do than to edit every object in game.

well the jsgme download version is incorrect the file pathway is wrong should look like this i do believe.

Nameofmod/Bazar/ParticleEffects/Effects

with effects folder containing the firvehicle.lua and flatsmokecloud.lua.

Looking at the older mod Better smoke and Fire mod i figured the pathway was wrong with this new one

With many targets, those smokes may cause to reduce FPS.

So, longer burning duration is very enough for me actually. :)

Devrim, check the Combined Objects mod I put together here...
Thank you so much man. I'll look at it! :)

This ís an awesome mod and add a lot to this Sim. TY

Unfortunately, it makes DCS to crash after a while like Grizzly already said. Is there an update on the way to fit 1.2.15? It would be magnificent if this mod could be used again without the game crash.

- New MOD for Vehicle Smoke -

For public version 1.2.15

To install:

1. Backup the original FireVehicle.lua file from ...DCS/Bazar/ParticleEffects/effects folder (in case you don't like this one)

2. Extract attached file to ...DCS/Bazar/ParticleEffects/effects folder

Note:

The smoke will disipate (get smaller) with time

I was not able to change smoke duration so this is the same as now, just the smoke will look better and more realistic. Performance wise, I only get low FPS when I am very close to the smoke (probably because my whole screen gets filled with it, and I run 4K resolution). Normal flying I still get good FPS.

And you can always test yourself :music_whistling:
