Hi all, the other day I was flying on Virtual Aerobatics when I saw 2 flat mountain tops the the SE of Kobuleti and I decided I could get a mustang up there, well I managed to get the first 3 up on it unscathed, then incited a bunch of hueys a few mi-8's, an A10, and an Su25 all to try to make it! We end up having about 10 of us up there at 4500.. Then attempts on the other one started thats is west of it, so far I am the only one to make it unscathed, but not for long I'm sure!! Note VTB_Ray was able to go up the 25 degree or so slope to make a different approach! Give that one as shot too, its a blast.... The reason I posted this in the Mustang area Is because the Mustang seems to be the best actf to try this with, as it is a challenge but possible, due to its excellent grass ops... Here are some pics, the mountains are between GG43 and GG53... here are some screens as attachments

First attempt, success!

so anyhow! give these a try if u are down! and lets find more of these to be the first on! (Mt. Elbrus is landable in the Mustang, have pulled it off, but granted with an airstart and a headwind hahah)

Reminds me of my playing around with MSFS years ago. Meigs Field in a C152 or C172. I'd set the weather with like a 100 knot headwind directly down the runway. Took a while but from the runway I'd maneuver the plane downtown and land on top of the Sears tower.

Great pics! That was a fun time. I got the hang of landing on the inclined side of that hilltop in the first post.

Here's a few from me - bush flying in the '51

Those mountain landings were fun back in the day! Glad to see you are still up to your barnstorming exhibitions, Willz. I'll have to give it a try in NTTR.

Would be cool to have a small airbase you could drop there with the ME.
