New 1.2.7, whats it about?

So 1.2.7 is out, time to start flying the Huey again! Any tips we should know before we begin?

 

Also waiting my Trackir 5 to arrive. Can't wait!

Ya I am dowoading a 1.2.7 update too. That can't actually be the 1.2.7 final, right? Must just be a beta update or something, even though I never downloaded that. Hmmm ...

I belive that this is the final (future updates will follow I suppose though) because it is available from the official DCS update utility

No, you can update your 1.2.6 to 1.2.7

Just installed it and tood a ride. I own a G940 and like before 1.2.7 the 'shake' option in FF tune of the cyclic has no effect. Hoped that it would have been implemented... :(

Ok here goes another one. You can stay at or above 700 degrees exaust temp and never having problem with the engine... The same as before 1.2.7. Not fixed...:(

It is a shame to me that they decided to take it out of BETA when there are still a lot of outstanding bugs/features not yet addressed. For example, the throttle on start-up still goes from idle to 100% with no in-between. It's just an annoying thing I have to deal with every time I start the Huey. But something that doesn't really take from the overall experience once I get her up in the air.

 

Maybe they just want to move on to their next aircraft (which I can't really complain about either.)

 

The Huey is "complete" enough that I can enjoy it for the most part without any issues. I just rather they'd keep it in BETA until the product has the features they said it would have when I spent my money on it.

I can´t find in mission editor the Engine´s lifespan option for Huey.

 

For Mi-8 its present.

 

Maybe a feaure not implemented yet? in the changelog is mentioned for both the Huey and the Hip.

Stupid seat belt is still there everytime i glance right and i noticed something weird in free flight f2 and just back up the zoom a little and there right next to me was a skelitoid frame of the huey you just have to catch it right anyone else seen this or just me.

Guys a lot of the issues you are talking about are more than likely fixed, ED have already stated that many issues are done but the current patch was feature locked before they were fixed, thus they will have to come in a future update :).

hi, i've update my game to 1.2.7 and in my setting I can't find the "flare dispenser" and "IA control" function. When I play in mission editor my gunner do nothing (like in 1.2.6). The flare dispenser is ok but I want assign a button on this function. Someone have an idea ?

*Changes in input commands require resetting input profiles to new default settings. To do so, delete (or rename if you wish to keep a backup) the saved input configuration folders (files) located in \WINDOWS DRIVE\User\User Name\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\UH-1H\.
