Who is the author of your Eurofighter mod? Version 1.1 of DCS was not an Open Beta, so now what are you looking for? A DCS OpenBeta version or a Eurofighter mod version?

Hi take a look here, I've made some correction of the original file. Tested with F-16, A-10CII and Mirage F1. Any bug or information for more accuracy welcome. Hope it will help you. But as told in the related post, DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP THE ORIGINAL FILE!

The replay system is being overhauled by ED (see newsletters). The system seems to have been made with SFM in mind. Today DCS is much more complex than it was when tracks were reliable. Tracks can still easily break. I'm currently working on a Warthog video that although having a simple mission, the track breaks continuity midway the mission on a 'area track' to 'point track' while being played 2 times now. Modules as the Viper and Hornet are much easier on tracks. The Tomcat frequently breaks tracks very easily (not talking about the jester menu bug on tracks). I've done full mission replays being successful from beginning to the end for more than 1h long, others break in 30 minutes time. As ED pointed out, the replay function is not 100% reliable as they are overhauling it. It should serve mainly as a debug feature. It is not a new thing. Tracks used to break back in 2014 too.

The insinuation that the maps are inadequate isn't a reasonable thing to say. As mentioned, I bought the NTTR map seven-years ago and have enjoyed it very much. I still use it often. Now while it might look dated in comparison to a map that came out this year, you have to remember it's also seven or eight-years old. And it still works as well as the day I bought it. Not everything is all new and shiny, though we might want it to be, but that doesn't mean it's inadequate. It just means it's an older map. I have all the maps and I fly them all and enjoy them all, even if they aren't all of equal "fanciness". And there is such variety and quality in the maps now that no one should feel left out given the offerings. I'd love to see the NTTR map get some serious love, and I'd be happy to pay for it. But in no way do I see the map as inadequate.

correct as-is Sniper Pod - lack of focus makes it nearly unusable at night
Dača replied to Posohm's topic in Bugs and Problems
Even on Lockheed Martin's video IR images are blurry compared to what we are used with previous Lightening pod. I agree that sniper pod IR image is a bit more blurry in DCS than real life footage (but only non XR), still not that much to be unplayable. -

Thanks for the replies now I understand -
I haven't jumped into the CH-47 yet, but it's working great in the apache. I'm currently fiddling around with the extra command lines to see if I can get the fuel state visible from the EUFD. If that's available? Great work BTW I'm absolutely loving it.

Sniper Pod - lack of focus makes it nearly unusable at night
Posohm replied to Posohm's topic in Bugs and Problems
Fair shout - here´s more videos and shots from those vids - as one can clearly see ( no pun intended) the contrast difference is huge, and that's at around 12nm in couple of those shots in NON XR. Its as if our TGP has a layer of grease covering the lens. -

SA-5 TR Locks Target Outside of its FOV (25° off TR azimuth)
Actium replied to Actium's topic in Weapon Bugs
I agree. It's a shame that adding an EWR to the group won't change a thing in vanilla DCS. Regardless, the higher detection range in a ~50° sector is nonsensical. -

Monopoly, unfortunately, is the key here. ED knows there is little if no alternative. I too think there's room for improvement especially if they commit themselves in specialized advance modules. Speaking out matters but ED should respond if they care

requested NS430 missing map data for South Atlantic Map

or at least the ability for the users to add points and routs by their own. Think here are enough people willing to do the job. -
Terrain teams do not work on modules. thank you

I would pause the new dev and update what you have to adequacy, then turn new dev back on. ED may have over committed with f-35, Iraq, Fulcrum and others.

Unfortunately you cannot display them in the mission editor. Only on the F10 Map in the game. Displaying Fixes and Waypoints in the ME is a huge wish!

Has anyone got the last version that was released of the Eurofighter - 1.1?

The map is feature complete, meaning it has met all the planned additions and features. Anything new would be new; it doesn't mean it's "missing" anything based on the original plan. I think many of us at ED would like this as well, its just a matter of dev time and a balance of new maps vs updating old ones. But its on our minds.
