    I've been doing the VR thing for a few years now... I've had the Reverb G2, the Quest 2, the Quest 3, and the original Pimax Crystal. Today I continue to use the Quest 3, as I think it offers the best balance between visuals, ease of use, reliability, and comfort. Is there anything new or noteworthy in the headset world? Any others I should try that offer a better experience than the Q3?

    Sorry but you are incorrect. Thanks for the log, we have a fix coming in the next patch for people experiencing longer load times, it should help.

    The problem is, to make it feel like a real JA 37, not just a grey Viggen 3d-model with a generic cockpit, you will need to use accurate HUD-, radar and TI-symbology, in a correct way. While a lot can be inferred from publicised photos and media, to make it right would probably require access to the user manuals (SFI), which are still, to my knowledge) classified. That precludes the creation of even a FC Viggen. Also, I think a too simplified JA 37 would lose some of the stuff that makes the JA 37 interesting, like the autopilot assisted gun mode.

    The helicopter displays the ETE as "hour and tenths of hour" but the correct unit would be Minutes and tenths of minute. Here is one screenshot. One with a WP at 9 NM and with an indicated airspeed of 88 knots. The time to fly there would be around 6 minutes at this speed however the indicator shows ETE 0.1 while it should show ETE 6.0 more or less Could you please fix this. This feature it is actually quite useful for precise navigation, accurate TOT and for coordination with other aircraft while the actual indication of "hour and tenths of hour" is not useful at all.     This whole idea seems farfetched. ED doesn’t have the resources for a map like this nor is it necessary or suitable for a combat sim IMO especially one with historical eras. They’ve stated they can’t afford streaming technology either which is the only way a map of this size could work. If this has to fit on a local drive it will just be a bland auto-gen map without cities or airports like flight sims had 15-20 years ago.

    For those of you using WhisperAttack... do find it to be a significant upgrade? Does it enable more flexible speech input - like liberal use of callsigns and more flexible phrasing?

    ORBX is the publisher not the developer. Kola has the same developer as South Atlantic. These issues are also present in the SA map. ORBX does both; develops scenery and aircraft for flight sims and publishes 3rd party scenery and aircraft. Which later is the case in DCS. They do need some improvements indeed...

    I havnt experimented with that yet, but from what I have seen from others that have - they seem to prefer doing the sharpening in piplay now.

    I'm sorry if you did do it in your track. I am currently away from my computer so I cannot check your track as of now. Just to make sure, after he sais advise when ready etc. for some reason, you have to wait a good few seconds before you reply. If you reply too quickly, he will ignore it. So wait like 5-10 seconds before replying, then he should continue as usual.

    Your track with IR works for us. Setting weapon to Auto and designation to Laser should also work. Im not sure why you are having difficulties.

    Ok, thanks, this worked. I find the original much better than the PP QV. mbucchia QV allows for turbo mode and to reduce the border size. I think the PP version doesn't do this.

    On paper the PSVR2 appears to be better but the QP is a very good headset; much better than the raw stats would suggest. I had hoped that someone might have direct experience with both the QP and PSVR2.
