The developers have added various fuse types for Soviet bombs, which has added many interesting bomb tactics. Are there plans to add customizable fuses for bombs unique to the Mirage F1 module in the future?

Thank you. Regarding the HOJ, I'm sorry, after several evenings of research, I cannot find any official information. I took it for granted as many many peole mention it, but I have no evidence to show.

ED seems to be stuck on tagging gear problems with "over-speeding gear" "not a bug". The real jet has a gear operation limit of 370 KIAS so i doubt that's the case. This is an indication of how robust this landing gear is IRL. Regards, John

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking

I don't understand. -
Surprisingly my performance also seemed better in VR

Thing is the Soviets planned to achieve air superiorty the way they did in ww2, and they did it with numbers and short range aircraft, and quick turn around times. It's a different model, but the plan was to still control the airspace, just with overwhelming numbers, and mobile SAM support, That's why so much focus is on robustness and being able to land and take off from remote airfields, and have quick turn around times.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking

So its a feature not a bug. -

Вот это да. Мешает. Но если его убирать, то не атмосферно получается!

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking
JupiterJoe replied to AG-51_Razor's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's not the repair process that breaks the plane. It's broken from the outset, at spawn. The repair process doesn't solve the problem either. We can't test this when spawning in the air, but I guarantee no matter how well you land you'll find the plane is damaged, strongly suggesting it's damaged with an air spawn too. -
overspeeding gear Landing gear damage model - too weak
CF104 replied to CF104's topic in Bugs and Problems
Just to confirm I didn't overspeed the gear, I flew a test flight using the Mig-29G numbers. I retracted and extended the gear at several KIAS points up to and including 400 KIAS. The gear didn't fail at all which tells me the development team has the correct 370 KIAS gear operation speeds modelled. Track attached. Regardless of the above, the gear is too weak on the ground as currently modelled. And please remove the "overspeeding gear" tag as it doesn't reflect what I'm reporting. Regards, John Mig-29 gear speeds.trk -
Can not bind dedicated EAC on Thrustmaster throttle
LeCuvier replied to Moxica's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
If there is a dedicated .lua file for one of your game controllers (in your case the Warthog Throttle) then that game controller can only use the lines defined in that dedicated file. Good decision! -

Just going from the crash and the log I would suggest disabling the following: secondary shadows, SSS (screen space shadows, iirc?), SSAO, and SSLR; which all show as "ON" in your log, and the crash directly refers to "secondaryshadowmaps". It wouldn't hurt to reduce shadows to medium as well, which would also reduce VRAM and CPU load a little.

Logically no(bc there's no other signal other than the STT HPRF and if it changes, the change occurs when missile is selected and target is under 1.2Rmax) and everything points towards it. No clue at all

Hi, I can confirm, after deleting the news.lua file, DCS is functional. Thanks for the quick community hotfix. -
thanks for the logs, I will ask the team to take a look

fixed FPS drops and mouse movement causing stutter
zbysiek replied to ExGreyFox's topic in Game Performance Bugs
@BIGNEWY Please remove the fixed tag, as the issue is not fixed and appears worse than before. I had to drop my mouse polling rate to 125Hz for the stuttering to stop completely. -
I agree. I always think of the MiG-29 as a MiG-21 on steroids and dialed up to 11 which is what I felt they were going for. It's mission profile was basically the same. Just "upgraded" for newer times. Intercept and point defence. And light air superiorty and ground support near the front line, and move your with the troops as they take NATO airfields,or work from forward operating posts, as the line moves forward.

Is there no way that the troops can be added/removed dynamically? i.e. linked with CTLD so that when troops are picked up they appear in the Huey? I'm guessing that this is a limitation due to the troops being a 'livery', but it would be nice to know the reason. One of the latest DCS updates allows the cargo to be shown in the loading bay when loaded from an airfield, so maybe ED has future plans to show troops.

Are we specifically talking about the SU27 now right? If yes, we now know a lot more about the real capabilities of the basic SU27 compared to the F15 of the 80s, the conclusion that can be drawn from that are: -US had a big upper hand in SA given by much better radar; it's not a raw power or range advantage but a usability, resistance to EW and overall radar azimuth, F15 is a true search radar, whereas the flanker and fulcrum are much more reliant in GCI -Better RWR giving incredibly more SA -Arguably better missiles (AIM7 M vs basic R27 comparison).
