When I did my comms menu test, I only tested with one carrier in the group. I understand your meaning, which is why, to avoid confusion, I only placed one carrier in the #2 slot with the #1 slot taken up by another ship (an Arleigh Burke). As described, no comms function with the carrier in the #2 position. The comms issue is secondary to the actual issue of the arresting cables not functioning with carriers not as the #1 in the ship group.

I just re-downloaded the Cold War Germany map and everything is back to normal. This was normal before the Cold War Germany map update, so I suspect it happened during the large map file update.

I understand about accessing the overlay in VR. As for the Haze, after much experimenting and changing settings in a number of places, I've discovered that if a mission is set with "no clouds" I get the fog ring/haze. But if I set some clouds in the mission the fog/haze is pretty much gone. The super white clouds in DCS really mess with the HUD, hence my next question. Question: Are there any of the parts of ReShade that could be configured to as as a sun visor or sun glasses? Similar to a polorizing filter. I know there is one for the F-16/F-18 in 2D but apparently there isn't one for VR.
