  2. Hello, I have noticed that APKWS do not desapear from their pod whene fired. This happens whatever the warhead but only if 3 LAU-131 pods are set on the BRU-42 triple rail It works correctly if there is only 2 pods on the triple rail or one pod on the plane pylon. This issue exist whatever the point on which the BRU-42 is set. Thank you very much.
  3. I fear so, given how quick M3 was to dump down the AWESOME original FM into the way more generic one we have now because ppl demanding that. Don't get me wrong i'm still loving the bird, but it lost 90% of its character and just feels so damn generic now imho.. Let's hope engine isn't next in line, but the way things are going i wouldn't get my hopes up too high.. I guess we gotta wait and see.

  6. Strange of course. I think they said it will be SP first which indicates MP later. In my opinion a dynamic campaign for single player is kind of obsulete since there are very good campaigns for most modules out there. It would be some kind of continuous use of the quick mission generator far worse than handcraftet campaigns due to the lack of good voice overs an given the bad AI. But in MP we now depend on people who spent endless hours of work to make a series of missions. In MP you don´t need good voice overs, because the immersion comes from the other players chattering on the comms and adapting to the picture. I never play the dynamic campaign in singleplayer in that other sim, because I found it quite boring. In MP it is a lot of fun.
  7. I was trying to find the compass rose in the ME as well, which is how I found this thread. Add me to the people who would like to have it in ME if possible. All I would need to do to get multiple ingress/egress headings in a glance is place the compass over a specific base, which would be super-helpful.

  9. I have other warbirds too and taxi on the ground in the mustang is my second nature. But after the last patch in the corsair it is just impossible to make a turn. As long as I am crossing the wind, I can turn in the wind relativly easy, but turning out of the wind in any direction does not work, regardless of how much throttle I give. Doing it with some speed only leads to running out of taxyway faster. No matter if I hit the brakes full or just a little bit, if I give full rudder or none at all, there is no technique aplyable. Don´t get me wrong, I like challenging modules and managing the engine is one of the things I like about warbirds. I do accept that the module is early access but that means, that I have to give feedback and tell what is not working. At least that nellis mission is not playable. Give it a try @ex81! Another thougt about early access is, that this in DCS usualy means that some features are missing and sometimes a buck makes its way into the update but this one was a very poor one. Leaving a plane unflyable for at least a mentionable number of people is quite a problem and I would like to see M3 pushing the pace to get this fixed.

  12. Thanks for the reply and the details. So it seems there are inconsistencies with the data sources as well as the model. can I ask which settings you use for Rated, cruise and WEP then in order to not damage the engine?

  14. The flap isn’t blocked, we’ve seen 9.12/13 fly with R-27ER just fine. It’s very close! But apparently works. Your second picture shows it with ER and flap down. SMT doesn’t change the wing. It’s not that far from 9.13.

  23. How often failures occur IRL? I know a lot depends on maintenance, but still, some random failures which you can't predict. F-16 is pretty robust and very perfected aircraft, so I would guess random failures are very very rare.
  24. The question is not the R-27ER or ET, even if everybody talking about their compatibility. The point is: the MiG-29 9.12A and B versions, so as the 9.13 only had the R-27R. There were no R-27T for the MiG-29 serial production versions. The longer ER is a way different question, since their length simply did not allow to use the flap. Here is a ukrainan 9.13: Here is a russian MiG-29SMT (which is very far from the 9.12): But the 9.12A and B had no these weapons, or if they would have, that would be only the ER. The T and ET belongs to only the Su-27 family.

  26. Hello comrades and sorry for my English. Yesterday I found a performance problem on the map "Cold War - Germany". When I install the S-75 or Kub (for example) on the air defense position on the map (or outside it) - then at a certain point in time and at a certain camera angle the FPS drops. Very much. A jump from 150-180 frames to 40 or even 25 frames. If I turn the camera slightly at a different angle (see screenshots) - the FPS is restored to values of 170-180. Having turned the camera a little - it drops again. After a few minutes - it can recover itself and the performance becomes stable, as if nothing happened ... I added the mission here as an example. I am attaching screenshots. My configuration: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D (4,5Ghz), ASrock Fatal1ty x470 Gaming K4, 64Gb DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill RIPJAWS V, Palit RTX4070Ti GamingPro OC, Samsung SSD m.2 970EVO (970 EVO Plus), ARDOR GAMING Infinity 27 (IPS/1080p/165Hz), Windows 11. Please note that in the cockpit, the FPS is stable, even despite the fact that there are a lot of Phantoms on the station. And as soon as I turn on the F7 camera, the performance drops when I look at the SAM system at a certain angle. There are no mods in the mission. The textures are standard. At the same time, sometimes the FPS drop is noticeable immediately after the mission starts, and sometimes you need to restart the mission several times. Sometimes the drop appears immediately, from the start, and sometimes a little later. Simulator settings are on the screenshot. I haven't checked with other units, but there may be similar problems. This hasn't happened before. The game version is the latest. Opened MSI Afterburner - the video card is loaded at all 12G, as always. Temperature - 50-60 degrees. Processor - 60-71 degrees, frequency 4450 (no boost). RAM - load from 45 to 49 gigabytes out of 64. When the above problem occurs - there are no surges in voltage, temperature, hardware load.
