Eigentlich alles recht einfach: Anmelden mit ED account ist, glaub ich, nötig um überhaupt auf Multiplayer zugreifen zu können. Um eine eigene private Session zu hosten müssen beim Host Portfreigaben aktiviert sein. Ausserdem braucht der Host eine echte, eigene ip4 Adresse. Dann einfach im Multiplayer Menü eine Mission auswählen, Optionen setzen und eigene Session starten. Dein Kumpel verbindet sich dann einfach direkt über IP, oder er sucht die Session im Server-browser, dafür muss sie aber "sichtbar" sein - in dem Fall dann am besten ein Passwort setzen. Steam und Standalone sind 100% kompatibel; da müsst ihr nix beachten.

This empty carrier situation bothers me. I suppose it's to allow the deck crews to operate without being disturbed by inactive items on the deck. However, I'd like to be able to fill them myself from the mission editor (before launching the "campaign" mode). Do you think this is possible? Also, the supercarrier will eventually be patched, and the ground crew will eventually operate on a full deck = hope.

OK, but i create a new loadout (clean) and want to use an external tank, but in the clean loadout there is no option to use the pylon number 7 (center) i have no idea whats going on.

Hallo! Ich bin jahrelanger DCS User mit Stunden im 4-stelligen Bereich und war in all der Zeit immer konsequenter offline-Singleplayer. Nun habe ich die Möglichkeit zusammen mit einem befreundeten Nutzer mal zu zweit was auszuprobieren oder auch mal Multicrew. Meine Frage wäre jetzt, wie genau das funktioniert. Ich nutze DCS über Steam und habe den Launcher deaktiviert. D.h. wenn ich DCS bei mir starte, befinde ich mich in dem Hangar mit dem Startmenü, wo ja immer diese Aufforderung kommt, sich anzumelden. Die klicke ich immer weg, da single player offline mode ja auch so funktioniert. Muss ich mich für Multiplayer-Sessions dann mal da anmelden? Oder ist das dafür unnötig? Und wie genau läuft das dann, wenn ich eine Session hosten will, bei der mir dann jemand beitreten kann? Der besagte Kumpel nutzt übrigens die standalone Version. Muss man da evtl. noch was beachten, wenn einer auf Steam ist, und der andere nicht?

It certainly synergizes well with the MiG's advantage in one circle fight, meaning it'd be a nail-biting fight. Probably as close to the apex of classic dogfighting as you can get. The MiG-29 is particularly great because it, along with F-16A, is one of the last, most advanced aircraft designed to be a dogfighter first and foremost. BVR is great and all, but if you really want to get your blood pumping, dogfighting is hard to beat.

While flying the Mig I noticed a small lever on the top left corner of the fuel gauge what if you put it in opt will it like a fmc generate me an optimum altitude and engine rpm or whatever, so can a mig 29 expert tell me what the hell is it

Hey @Dentedend10, Thank you for your feedback. At least you saved some tax payers money with bringing back the sidewinder. When calling out for the second bandit group, the BRAA is only a rough direction. So, depending on where your are at that moment it can be a bit incorrect. The AI Awacs is not able to see them because they are to quite low. You have to utilize your radar to find them, talk to jester to seach on low altitude. Then you should find them if you fly to the general direction where the bandits were called. But, these two bandits are more like bonus to complete the mission only the mig-23 are relevant. So good job!

Has anyone come up with a good fix for the trigger? I've seen maybe one video about gluing a spring to the board, but I'm interested if anyone has done anything over the last couple years to improve their trigger?
