Danke erst einmal. MfG

Yes, can do startup, talk to tower, change radio stations, all that, without issue. Butt after switching to AG mode, it says "Current ordnance loadout:" and as you can see, it lists nothing, but in the second image, you can see that I do have paveways, and a lantirn pod attached. The pod does warm up and activate, but doesn't see I did toggle Airio and restart (and made sure appendices were checked [they were]), but still no joy. I will check in with Discord.

INVENCIBLE MODE ALWAYS ON?

Thanks for your comments and have been addressed for the next update. Thank you, John -
it’s not … but I have this obsession for accuracy, so when one user that has been here a bit over a year, attempts to teach ED how to run their business… I feel this urge to put things into perspective, an urge that I can’t really explain. but as obviously many users feel that my accuracy is miss placed, I will stop following this thread, so you can keep suggesting ED how to do things, bye.

I just cited them because you said: " we have the right …" wasnt defending, just pointed out the incongruency

From your post count and your knowledge it's clear you've been playing for decades, and that's amazing. But you have to understand that probably the majority of us aren't as passionate about the game as you are, and in the end ED cannot survive on a handful of whales buying everything. Right now they're hyping up the WW2 stuff with the Corsair, ww2 Marianas, asset pack, etc. Yet you have zombie planes still flying in circles after being destroyed, and it's been that way for two months. Do you honestly think that's acceptable?

Still happening. Cold Start. This issue has several years now and it gets really tiring. -
As I have been unable to find reference to these issues in previous posts to this forum I have taken the liberty of posting this report. The attached screenshot shows the Batbomb radar controls in the Corsair. The Search Mode button is numbered 1; the Target Lock button is numbered 2; and the Batbomb Radar Rotary ON/OFF Switch is numbered 3. In my Controls Setup I have bound keyboard keys and HOTAS buttons to each of the Batbomb functions / actions. In testing these binding I have found the following: FOR THE RADAR ON/OFF ROTARY SWITCH 1. Using the Mouse - When set to OFF a Left Mouse Click on the Radar Control Rotary Switch moves it from OFF to HOLD 1 MIN. A further left mouse click then moves the switch from HOLD 1 MIN to RUN. 2. Using the Mouse - When set to RUN a Right Mouse Click on the Radar Control Rotary Switch moves it to HOLD 1 MIN. A further right mouse click moves it to OFF. 3. Using the Keyboard Binding - When set to OFF, pressing the Radar ON Keyboard Binding moves the Radar Control Rotary Switch directly to RUN. 4. Using the Keyboard Binding - When set to RUN, pressing the Radar OFF Keyboard Binding has no affect on the switch - it remains set to RUN. 5. Using the HOTAS Binding - When set to OFF, pressing the Radar ON HOTAS Binding moves the Radar Control Rotary Switch directly to RUN. 6. Using the HOTAS Binding - When set to RUN, pressing the Radar OFF HOTAS Binding has no affect on the switch - it remains set to RUN. FOR THE SEARCH MODE BUTTON 1. Using the Mouse - Clicking Left Mouse button on the Search Mode Button when it is out depresses the Search Mode Button and it stays depressed. 2. Using the Mouse - Clicking Left Mouse button on the Search Mode Button when it is depressed causes the button to pop out. 3. Using the Keyboard Binding - When the Search Mode Button is out, pressing the Keyboard Binding depresses the Search Mode button momentarily but it does not stay depressed. 4. Using the HOTAS Binding - When the Search Mode Button is out, pressing the HOTAS Binding depresses the Search Mode button momentarily but it does not stay depressed. FOR THE TARGET LOCK BUTTON 1. Using the Mouse - Clicking Left Mouse button on the Target Lock Button momentarily depresses it. 2. Using the Keyboard Binding - Pressing the Keyboard Binding momentarily depresses it. 3. Using the HOTAS Binding - Pressing the HOTAS Binding momentarily depresses it. Of the three possible setups for using the BatBomb Radar, only the TARGET LOCK BUTTON appears to operating as required in Mouse / Keyboard Binding / HOTAS settings.

In my opinion some are not minor errors: having ATC to give the wrong IAF for approaching the runway in bad weather? Or having the wingmen repeat endlessly the same things when they spot enemies? Or having wingmen crash on the tarmac? By citing Licence Conditions to defend ED position for the huge list of accumulated issues means throwing away the concept of "passion and support". There are incredibly talented community members who work hard to maintain fantastic solutions for DCS (without which I fear DCS wouldn't be what it is today) and campaign creators who put in a tremendous amount of effort to provide us with decent missions. It's high time for ED to do its part and dedicate the necessary time to fixing the legacy, otherwise we risk making life difficult even for those who are passionate about it. (BTW: I honestly don't think they'd even dream of mentioning the licensing terms. Luckily they are not an Insurance company )

Some more system modelling - today are Warning Lights with Master Caution Reset. New failures make the warning lights blink until Master Caution Reset is pressed.

I did know that. I also know that most reviews are on the extreme sides of the opinion spectrum from love to hate, and we'll be lucky to find one that's by an actual C-130J pilot. So far no one has identified themselves on this forum as far as I know. On Day 1 hopefully we get a Casmo, Lex Talionis, Mooch, C.W. LeMoine or 47Driver level bubba to show up and give us the straight dope on the Herc FM, systems review in early access, and so on. Everyone else is a YouTube Twitch streamer looking for clicks so they can get a Virpil sponsorship as far as I'm concerned. Still, once the module drops, you're paying full price and the time until it goes on sale or a free fly weekend is long into the foggy distance. My point above is that in the flight sim world, I don't think it pays to be a cheapskate unless you have infinite patience. This is just not a penny pinching pastime. You gotta take the L on the Hawk to support the dev or the developer dies. I'm Team Support ED and Team Support 3rd Party Developers Who Read and Honor the Contract They Signed and Not Try To Shake Down the Lead Developer/Publisher In Public Only To Go Down In Flames. I'm not team wait-and-see. The flight sim industry depends on the Greater Fool, and not just one or two of us. It takes all of us.

the biggest thing i found with maneuvers like this is to avoid lots of collective. You only want enough to keep it controllable or it will work against you and slow you down instead of allowing you to climb like that. In the Ka-50 if you have too much collective then the rotors hit. The Apache doesn't have that problem but it still needs very low collective when able. Its all about using your momentum and timing.

F-23A mod by ThunderStruck Simulations
G.J.S replied to Thunder Chicken22's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Looking forward to its arrival fella. Kudos to you and your team. -
I wouldn’t expect this for free in DCS as it’s a paid subscription model in those other add-ons. But it’s cool.

See BeyondATC for another sim. https://www.beyondatc.net/features For actual ATC work there needs to be a system inside DCS and that ED needs to code/overhaul, which they are doing as per previous newsletters throughout the years. It is a bit meaningless to have audio interaction with an AI and no sim reaction to that, like AI planes obeying to ATC and the ATC managing actual traffic (to be fair, they do a bit) among other many things.

Vulkan API, if more than just a thin wrapper, and really implemented well could be a massive improvement in performance under certain scenarios. Particularly, for VR users, "rdr CPU" - which often spikes VERY high when a lot of objects come on screen. In the Vulkan implementation can get that under control it might half the rdr CPU demand. When you understand that app CPU + rdr CPU must be below the same MS frametime as GPU (so in 72hz native mode, app CPU + rdr CPU must remain below 13.3 or so) we can see just how important this is to ensure locked FPS in demanding single player campaigns or scripted missions when a lot of units come on screen. My understanding was that they have had vulkan API up and running for a while but it sounded like they wanted to push harder on the implementation to unlock more performance boost. Indeed, if Vulkan API can boost not only average FPS, but clear up rdr CPU bottlenecks, it could be a real game changer for many users - especially VR users. I really hope we will be hearing/seeing/experiencing more on this front in the not too distant future. It has been a very long time coming.
