No please don't think I'm accusing you of being a noob, I never meant my message to sound that way, apologies! I just figured a track file would help to see where exactly things go wrong because currrently I'm not experiencing any engine issues, I just did a 30 minute hop in the Corsair, almost all the time at full mil power (50-54 inHg MP at 2700 RPM) doing some aerobatics practice and the engine ran perfectly fine. I kept my cowl flaps at about 20% open and I kept the oil and intercooler flaps at about 50% open. Oil and cylinder head temperatures never exceeded their limits. I think a track file would help, since you are experiencing issues, it seems your engine is overheating when it really shouldn't be. Just trying to help!

Hi, your 2fa is done using google authenticator ( if you use that one ) its not linked to your email. It should work, I have 2fa on all of my DCS accounts.

Hello i need advice. I enable the 2FA for my DCS account in order to test the Afghanistan map. So i scanned the QR code available on my DCS profile, with Google Authenticator. I see a new entry 'digitalcombatsimulation...' inside Google Authenticator on my phone. But when i try to log in my DCS account, the DCS website reject the code generated by Google Authenticator. I tried several times. I opened a ticket to ED support team and they gave me recovery codes. I was able to disable 2fa authentication on my DCS account. Now i am able to log in without 2fa authentication. I don't know what is the problem. My question : as my DCS account is linked to my email (Outlook email), do you know if the 2fa is also linked to my Outlook email address ? In other words, Can I use "Google" Authenticator when the email address registred on my DCS profile is a Microsoft Outlook one ? Could "Microsoft" Authenticator be the best app in my case ? Check the FAQs. Development will start in earnest in 2025, with a release goal in 2026. This is subject to change. Of course definitely not a promise, but implies that a 2026 release could be possible plus it is the current goal of ED. And I hope it will happen, because my wallet is ready for it

That’s great. Whenever there’s a problem always go back to basics. Strip back to just what you need, test, then start adding back one at a time. It’s the same with DCS. Remove all mods and start from the bare minimum. Add mods back until you find the problem,

I extensively tried to replicate the issue but failed, plus it hasn’t happened again not even in multiplayer. Probably the two crashes were only a coincidence. Thanks for the help.

As ED I would consider to join up with the guys from BeyondATC or someone else hwo offers such a produkt already and let them create a 3rd Party Module, if needed as a monthly payed one. But to unleash the full potential there must be a serverbased option. Think about it, everyone who runs a server has monthly costs already and if they increase about 10 EUR that would be totally ok if therefore you have different human like ATC agents for all the aiports, awacs, tankers, FACs and AI flights. It would be a total immersive thing which enhances the multiplayer expierence largly.

I was able to figure out what my problem was . Slughead you were right there was nothing wrong my setup. My issue was I have the Winwing MIP and the software for it Simapp Pro wont let TARGET connect to the Viper panel if it running. The fix was to keep Simapp off, start and run the Scrip from the editor. Once it was up running (Only takes few seconds now) then start Simapp and the Viper panel lights now works in DCS. Thanks again for the great work you do.

Wait...a $150 (sorry, this is the military, $150,000) solutions aren't viable for military purposes, but anything the air force flies uses this non-viable technology? You did that in sequential sentences? Now I'm really cornfused. TACAN, incidentally, is being phased out. At the rate the US Military moves I expect the last TACAN station to be shut down shortly after the sun enters its red giant phase.

Hm, not sure I understand all this. But it sure would be great to have the ERO assets as fortifications - that we, we could incorporate them in group templates and not rebuild or copy-paste the static units to our SAM sites in different missions.

This concerns the SU-25 Instant Action at the Persian Gulf map, the Ground Attack on a convoy near Al Minhab AB (here a playthrough for that mission: The player starts hot at the runway, the other Su-25 spawns on final close to the runway head... in that playthrough video, it overflies the player, using DCS 2.9.19.13478 it crashes on the player around 3s after the mission starts

The biggest update this map received was after Razbam situation started with the inclusion of the new normal maps. It transformed the map in a big way. The developer continued working on it without Razbam as the later was involved as just as a publisher for the developer. It is the same developer for the Kola map region.

I agree a little more feedback from George would help. George seems to not fire after lasing with the Radar Missiles, he just sits there after selecting the target and complains we are not in constraints until the ZSU shoots down.

Has anyone been able to display the number of enemy units in a zone? Using the Group Tracker, I can get it to show remaining groups but not units. count remaining units.miz

The aircraft is damaged from the moment you spawn and cannot be repaired: I'm as excited as anybody to fly this gorgeous aircraft, so hope a fix comes soon, but I first posted about this in June and nobody's acknowledged it. -Rudel- states in the above link that the Corsair has a unique damage model.

Working on this currently Fixed all issues and upgraded the mission. Keep you posted, testing taking some time

Also ensure the file extension (and format) is .jpg or .png only. Other extensions like .jpeg do not work.

Has something changed in a recent update that might cause this behaviour? I have a mission I created some time ago, I've been away from DCS for about six months, and this didn't use to happen. An AI F-18, which the player is supposed to escort, is flying from WP1 to WP2, both set to 5,000 ft and around 1/3 of the way to WP2 descends and flies to WP2 at 800 ft. I can't see anything going on that would cause it to do this. Thanks for any suggestions. Sorry, but I don't wish to upload the mission.

How about we estimate the release in lunar cycles?
