PLEASE @BIGNEWY We SHOULD BE ABLE to make out DTC - DEFAULT one, and this mentioned NON-intuitive process have as backup for special cases, where not even your default one is well suited for mission you are about to fly.

Кнопка, она не работает в процентах, а педалями ты даешь необходимое количество шага винта! Если хочешь летать, то тут даже говорить не о чем, педали, рус и руд, точка! Так это и не игрушка, а симулятор! Это две большие разницы! Мало того что литературу поизучать, потом долгие и упорные тренировки, с отработкой элементов.

@GumidekCZ Not at my PC right now, but does the „Open DTC“ button not appear when you start one of these missions? You can load a DTC file with the respective CMDS settings you like there and then activate it in the MUMI page as advertised. The whole process of loading a custom DTC is not very intuitive though. You need to press on „File“ which totally doesn‘t look like a button at all. And after you pressed „Load“ there is also zero feedback. Guess it‘s not an Apple product… I works though… EDIT: The described process assumes you had created and saved a custom DTC file before.

Please get the Pilot out of the plane after landing. It`s boring to be stuck in the cockpit. And remove the mask, there is enough oxygen at this level. And it would be realistic.

Hello,F-16CM bl. 50 JDAM test.trk I am also experiencing JDAMs missing targets by couple of meters. I was not aware laser range finding was necessary with this targeting pod. When should laser be fired, before or after slewing target/point tracking? Please confirm if I am using sniper pod MT mode with JDAMs incorrectly (without laser range finding). But how Im supposed to put my favourite CMDS programs into any DCS default mission without edditing it in first? Because by throwing out of window above mentioned Lua file, your team literaly denied player such posibility There is no in game method of editting DEFAULT DTC which would be opened in every mission or am I wrong?

Nope, like their real counterparts, the GMLRS and ATACMS doesn't have any sort of terminal seeker (like radar, IR or laser). They guide by GPS and INS. So they are fixed coordinate weapons. Outside of DCS though, the upcoming PrSM, which is replacing the ATACMS, is suppose to have some sort of multi-mode seeker.

That's what i wantet to tell you, but the text i wrote magically disappeared. In the lower picture (from 2001) you see the original layout with the four locks in the northern part, but they are inactive since 1972. The height difference between the upper and the lower channel of the Oder-Havel -Kanal is 36 meters. The new ship lift installation was finished in 2022 and not present in the 80's. In the third picture on the left side you can see the old Finow-Kanal. The old ship lift is in service since 1932 until now. And it's one of the main attractions in the Finow area.

I'm playing through the Inherent Resolve campaign (excellent campaign, great work!), but I think I hit a bug at mission 4 with the latest update. I have no external mods installed other than official DCS modules. I can't get the mission to start after I start the plane. There is no music, no messages, no radio comms and the humvee never moves from its spot. I tried both autostart and a manual cold start but no dice. I also restarted the campaign to see if that would fix it but it did not. All previous missions work fine and then when I skipped to 5 it was also normal. What did work for me was reverting back to the last DCS version before the most recent update. Now I immediately get the music and the message to start the hornet at the start of the mission and can play it normally. I think the most recent update may have affected the trigger behavior at the start of the mission. I didn't include a .trk file since I solved it by reverting versions, but if the issue can't be replicated I'm glad to go back and update my DCS and see if it continues happening.

Right, that is mostly because an elevation angle of 3° already changes the covered altitude by 10k ft (at a distance of 30 NM). So you cover the entire relevant airspace by moving the angle around below 10° already, while the grid on the side goes up to 60° in both directions. So relevant angle changes will be very small on the scale only: Jesters uninformed general scan pattern moves in a sophisticated way between -10k ft, -2k ft, 0 ft, +2k ft and +10k ft relative altitude (for a distance of 30nm). So you will get angle changes of around 4° in both directions maximum. To focus on a specific altitude, you can use the Jester Wheel.
