Rudel did you figure out about the WWII AI units ? I took a look at the mission file and suppose that it is the 4x "AI Hurricane" units that may come from an old Cuesta mod (perhaps this one ) Anyhow, will try to replace them with Spits and see if it loads fine then -

No problem, please let me know how you get on. If that does not work I want you to rename your dcs folder in saved games. Keep it as a back. Then restart DCS, login, and test. thank you -
Morning all. Here in UK at least. After watching this video earlier.. where hes flying DCS with NO QV whatsoever.. smoothly!! I actually went back into DCS, disabling QV in Pimax Play (leaving the setings as was in DCS) Launching through PP into DCS still using the settings I applied above and flew in very smooth 72FPS in several maps and aricraft. Do we need QV?? try it. Regards

Hi, can you remove all unofficial mods, then delete metashader2 and fxo folders in saved games dcs folder. Then run a verify in steam. Hello, I've been away for about a week and wanted to do some helicopter flying again. After logging into various servers, I keep getting stuck after selecting my aircraft and a crash message appears. I then tried flying a campaign mission and a custom mission, but I always get the same crash message. The log says something about missing Voice_Chat.log or something similar. I've tried repairing the game via Steam, updating the game version to the last version and then back to the current version, and even restarting the computer hasn't worked. Now I'm a bit confused, when I start DCS without my VR headset, everything works strangely. So the problem only exists with my VR headset. I hope for your help. I use a Pimax Crystal OG Nvidia RTX4080 AMD Ryzon 7 7800X3D MSI MPG X670E Carbon Wifi Kingston Fury DDR5-6000 64 GB System drive: Crucial T700 1TB Game drive: Samsung SSD 990 EVO Plus 4TB My latest Log:dcs.log-20250915-112523.zip

I've checked with the team and I am wrong, the speed for the waypoint is not a factor, the AI doing the sling load will pick its speed for reaching the drop off during the task. It maybe something we can tweak, I will wait for the example. thank you -
[SPOILOR ALERT if you haven't played the mission] The plot is to locate and land on frigate "NEUSTRASHIMI" in a boxed search area. The only vessel in sight upon "I have visual" trigger is a warship without a helipad, making it not possible to achieve. Here's the what the vessel look loke (unfortunately I wasn't able to cycle to that unit with F7) Here's the frigate in the briefing, which doesn't seem to be consistent with the spwan vessel Here's the current location as indicated in ABRIS, (North West to the X spot of the ship, very close to the west boundary of the search area) [SPOILER ALERT] Is it a bug?

Can you add a simple mission example with just the units needed on Caucasus, we can take a look. yes speed and altitude can be set for the waypoint -

Yes, in theory. But as stated above, when having the AI doing an external cargo transportation, it ignores all waypoints and races directly to the drop off zone. AFTER that, he will fly to his waypoints and adhere to the set restrictions. -

Problem is you cannot do so. If I have an AI with advanced waypoint option Cargo transportation (external), it will race in a straight line from pick up to drop off. It also overrides a manually set Group.getByName(myLittleChinook"):getController():setSpeed(30) (also tried to set it in continous trigger) Maybe add a fourth field to the external cargo action to set the speed? Or am I missing an option here (certainly don't want to rule that out). -

Anticollision-Light immer an. Außer im Feindgebiet. Am Tag bei guter Sicht keine Positionsleuchten. Bei Nebel und Nacht an. Formationslichter nur wenn ich nicht allein fliege. Und dann auch nur nachts. Im Feindgebiet immer alles aus ausser Formationslichter. Weiss aber auch nicht ob das alles so stimmt. Wer es mit Sicherheit weiß...ich bin auch interessiert.

HI, I understand your point, however to add speed restrictions automatically would create other problems. The current way is for the mission designer to set the speed for the AI, it is the easiest way to have them match a speed required for a particular part of a mission. thank you
