I'll try deleting the metashaders2 folder mentioned above. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'll post a log. Would it be better to start a new thread instead of replying to this one? Thanks. -
Oh, I agree. While it doesn't seem ED wants to go that way. I believe they want this solution because then you can actually tune "in real time" exactly where the "detent" is. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

MiG-29 and other Soviet aircraft were of course designed to deal with rough surfaces (this likely will be irrelevant in the DCS environment), but obviously trying to taxi on grass won't end well: That being said, a lot of people complain about "soft" landing gear in DCS where they are simply using poor technique: the Hornet forum had a long thread about it as well. -

According to manual, LEF should be extended regardless of flaps position if landing gear down. Now LEF are in up position on ground with flaps up.

Since this patch, I've also been experiencing issues with the loading screen, where the bar doesn't move even a millimeter. I've removed the game's mods and checked the integrity, but there's been no change. I can't play the game, even when loading missions or instant actions. -

Sure, but I think it's best to keep things consistent instead of everyone trying to re-invent the wheel. Other developers already implemented Special Options, so why not simply keep doing that? A universal solution - like the one ED seemed to have in development - seems great on paper but may not work properly in all cases (for all modules). -
I would like to have the ability to walk and even run around the aircrafts. Would give some opportunities for campaign makers and also ad some immersion on a server environment, since a last walkaround is standard procedure before every flight IRL. Would be also very cool if you could actually run (mouse and keyboard or gamepad support) like in a shooter after ejection to cover from enemy forces and later get picked up by a SAR Huey!

Ну или кто-нибудь еще из них. Да и тот же @Fighter29 мог бы объяснить. Но он, что-то после выхода новой модели ничего не писал еще, вроде. Хотя я его видел здесь

Yes, there is a problem with the in-game Vsync. I wasn't much into DCS in 2025 so I didn't notice. Thanks for pointing that out. But the trees are problematic, still. In a less dramatic manner, check out the attached comparison. Less objects world visible (mostly filled with) - much less FPS. If that doesn't ring a bell I don't know what will. -

Yeah well that is my problem because I tried that but it seems like they use different values for the various parameters you enter. I tried setting it up based on my previous settings and nothing even got close to what I had in the stand alone QV. I even had some crashes / unplayable gameplay when using > 150% resolution in the Pimax Play version, where in stand alone it worked just fine. Does anyone know where the Pimax equivalent QV settings file is stored so I can compare it to the stand alone QV? It seems like Pimax took the idea, but not the implementation as the foveated 'style' looked very different to me.

Hallo, Weiß jemand wie man die Radar Delta Einstellungen vornimmt? Die Höhenkorrektur kann man gut sichtbar einstellen +10km/-6km, für die Entfernung gibt es am Schubregler ein "ranging wheel" aber ich kann nirgendwo die entfernung ablesen. Bei der fc3 stand diese unten mittig im Hud. Kann jemand helfen?

Да нее, в армии так не бывает, точнее панель то конечно может перекочевать, но подключать обе кнопки с разными названиями ни кто не даст, особенно в авиации. Заглушить могут, даже пустую дырку оставить - запросто, но подключить две без особой причины - сомневаюсь.

None of the modes can detect launches and I get it - it is realistic. But SPO thread database could be sent to manufacturer for update, so why not making the automatic mode being able to detect at least some launches. We're not asking for ARM's detection, but at least some SARH launches from planes and SAM. BVR is now kinda pointless, especially without ground intercept. That would be a great idea to have it behave realistically on Stock WP mode (since automatic mode doesn't charge much at all) and have launch warning detection on automatic.

Development is continuing and we have shared a lot of new features, bugfixes and additions to the F-4 in our Discord over the past weeks. Most of them are also already in the manual, if you want to read more about it there: https://github.com/Heatblur-Simulations/f-4e-manual/releases To list some of these additions: EFB, Maverick Gyros, Combat Tree, Zunis, Aircraft Persistence System, ... All of that will be available to you as soon as we finish testing. Unfortunately, this step takes us a bit longer than expected this time. But it will eventually be ready and then you can get your hands on it In regards to the DMAS, there is currently no news or ETA that can be shared. F-4-wise the focus currently lies on delivering the MSFS F-4 (a lot of recent bugfixes and features for the DCS module are a byproduct of that).

Patriot ECS requires line of sight to a target

IRL the Patriot ECS has to be within 38 m of the AN/MPQ-53 RS as that's the length of the cable connecting the 2. Though you're quite right that the ECS doesn't need to have LOS to the target, only the radar (RS) needs to have that (though it also needs LOS to the missiles, as Patriot uses a command-guided midcourse phase and the RS needs to uplink steering commands throughout the entire flight). And speaking of cables: The power cables between the EPP and the ECS and RS are 23 m long, so the EPP shouldn't be more than that distance away from them. The cable between the ECS and the AMG/CRG are 15 m long, so the AMG/CRG shouldn't be further than that from the ECS. The launchers (LS) are more independent and have their own generators, instead having a radio link to the ECS, they should be sited between 120 - 1000 m away from the RS and 90 m away from each other if out in the open. This all comes from FM 44-15-1.
