South Atlantic is one of my favourites. Shame it doesn't get more uptake, feels like a lot of people can't get past the 80s and can't use it due to lack module X or y. It's so large it should be one of the best for BVR scenarios, even air quake if that's your thing. I would like to see more modern day campaigns and missions for it.

OK upon further review, I think perhaps there may have been some interference, for lack of a better word, between mod folders. I removed the old one and left the new one, which I have been working on. And guess what.. now that one building shows up and looks good. So yeah - now I feel stupid, but also relieved. Thanks again for your help and your cool mods to learn from, sir. EDIT: Actually, TeTeT please reach out if you are interested in testing these things. Just armed buildings, but kinda fun. -
Happy to see the SA map is still being developed and getting some much needed TLC. Used it as a Scandinavia stand-in before Kola. However, the SA has an own unique flavor to it. Sadly enough highly underrated as not supported by many MP servers and Campaign developers, for known reasons that are not unique to SA map. Probably a pipe-dream, but still hoping for an official FRS.1 Sea Harrier module and a Falkland campaign.

No...so many software providers are trying this on...and so many people have left them for other options. Besides, I've spent money to support DCS for a reason...to help them develop. I and other people on low incomes might not be able to afford a subscription based DCS and it might throw up legal arguments for people that have bought modules.

I've placed into the saved games but I receive the same message. I'm also try to see if the A4 mod works, I've place the A4 folder into the Mods/Aircraft but it doesn't works.

I would try using a counterweight once the handle is fully loaded. You just have to find the right weight for the right distance.

They not the same team but some of the same individuals. They did the SA map on their own time. And then did the Kola map as part of their day job i.e. working for Orbx.

Any hints in dcs.log when you try to load the model? With config I mean the lua code. -
seems you placed it within the dcs program folder, instead of at saved games.

Please give me a little more context on what you mean by configs. If you are referring to the lua code etc, all of that is good. Remember I had them all working not that long ago. And other 49 still work great. That's not it, but I'll revisit just in case. What I changed out was the model in blender. -

You have a good working model and config (or more), and a bad non working model and config. If I'm totally clueless in that situation I swap models and config to see where the cause might be. E.g. A is good, B is bad. Model A, Config A - good Model A, Config B - which result? Model B, Config A - which result? Model B, Config B - bad For configs I usually do a line by line comparison next, for models, I ask for further help -

I have a license key for Windows 10 but I still bought a license key for Windows 11, which I paid €0.50 for at Cdiscount, so it cost practically nothing.

I used the FARP template to create armed static buildings/houses, 50 of them in total. There is another thread about them in this section, you'll find it. Had all 5 of them working in game, just needed to clean up the textures. So I went through and redid many of them, and for many object, I'll say this effort did result in real improvement. Except now, for whatever reason, I cannot load one of these objects. It shows up fine in the mission editor, when I view it (see attached image). I am trying hard to determine what setting is different with this one, vs the other 49 objects - reviewing the blender files, etc. Nothing helps. What in the hell did I do? Ideas?
