  2. Myself and some others I fly with have recently been having issues with JDAMS in TOO mode. After designating a target in TOO 1 (and checking TOO 2 is clear), selecting the station using the QTY button on the RHS of JDAM display, I flew into the release zone. Upon holding the pickle button, both JDAMS are released from the BRU-55 and hit the sinlge designated target. From my and other players previous experience, and according to a few guides, holding the pickle button would still only release a single JDAM from each of the selected stations. I checked the changelog and couldnt see any specifics about changes to the JDAM drop mechanisms. update 2.9.21.16362 does mention changes to JDAM/JSOW QTY settings, maybe this is affecting it? For now it can be avoided with short presses of the pickle button, but this makes releasing multiple JDAMS at once a bit tedious as you can accidentally drop both from the same station. Maybe this is correct behaviour and I'm doing something wrong? Happy to try provide track files if needed.
  3. Here is another MP mission track, though this one seems to show a smaller error. The last bomb drop is with pre designation to correct for wind to try and show the “short” impact of the bomb better LastMissionTrack.trk
  4. Fantastic news! It's great to see things happening behind the stage Good find @MiG21bisFishbedL !
  5. Hello, I have target altitude set in both these tracks and aimed close to the target altitude point. In SP it is dead on, with MP it is always short. Idk what going on. Perhaps it user error, but I’m trying to set DTC exactly the same both in SP and MP and yet in MP it’s consistently short of target. I guess the MP track is too large, here is google drive link, let me know if a different way of attaching it is needed https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RbN31icIScUZjRucZM5sUi2vV-7-IU3b/view?usp=drivesdk Otherwise I am extremely happy with the air to ground behavior!! 6. Here you go. I've replayed that scenario countless time and I always end up being sniped by these helicopters. Also it's almost impossible to get a lock or a track in any modes. Of course I had better missile tracking with AMRAMS but that's not what I want to demonstrate here. These helos are way to good. I don't think they would stand a chance against a FA18c. 7. You can launch at an EWR but the missile won't track. I believe it shouldn't even show up in TOO (HAS) mode
  8. It would be nice to have some more greek islands included in the map, particularly the island of Limnos.
  9. I set Agana to a blue airfield, hopped in a blue, USA, P-51D, rearmed and refueled, and the guy talking is talking in what sounds like Russian. I've never changed the native language from anything but English. I think this is a bug. Unless it's time period correct, then disregard! Thanks!
  10. Do we know what the “degradation” criteria is for any of the warbirds with respect to warmup/takeoff? i.e., beyond which point damage begins? Mustang (to my surprise) seems to 100% *not* care whether you warm it up whatsoever. Is it safe to ride the 120 psi during warmup in the P47 like that or is that slowly degrading things in the background? Very much wish the Thunderbolt was more in line with the Corsair and the P47 flight manuals with respect to warmup times (where it suggests to expect about 3-4 minutes).
  11. Can we get a picture of a tire? Or pitot tube? OOOooo a static wick? Anything? Pretty please!
  12. Same here. But I've still had many good flights on the Sinai map. And of the maps I use the least vs. the planes I use the least, I get much more enjoyment from the maps. There are a few planes I'd give away if I could, but I wouldn't give away any of the maps. In the end, I'll probably get it because I'm a sucker for new maps. At the very least I'll get my money's worth. And the map might surprise me. I bought the Iraq map not expecting very much, but I really enjoy it. Might be the same with the Balkans.
  13. I tend to agree with Tonker and Nealius here. Fair points. Having said that I wouldn’t advise anyone against grabbing the Mossie but it’s fair that they know what to expect. It’s not far off but it needs a little bit of work. I fly it a fair bit. Try it, would be my advice. Buy it and post in the wish-lists maybe?

  15. Balkans Map was announced,F-117 is more possible
  16. While I suspect that the E model's blades might give a bit of help (among some of the other differences), a presence of a full color ADI doesn't exactly make a lot of difference in the ability (or inability) to perform acrobatic maneuvers in a helicopter. It's probably the skateboard he tucked behind the seat. Makes all the difference in the world.
  17. Hello! Very excited for your next project after Sinai. While I have enjoyed your Sinai map and witnessed it improve greatly over the course of Early Access, it is still my impression that it has room to improve in regards to the detail to the cities. One thing you did really well is foster a sense of scale and density with the procedurally generated buildings, On the other side of that coin, with a few exceptions to certain key areas or sections, many of the larger cities call feel bland due to lacking a real hand crafted attention. For the Balkan’s map, it is my hope that we can reach greater heights with your city design - not just in the core city center but extending outward. More custom assets, more attention to custom placements and small details, and a larger diversity in buildings. Looking forward to what you come up with and excited to see this new map! Cheers!
  18. To clarify, I'm not asking to combine the HMD brightness knob and NVG gain controls, those should remain separate as they are in two different places. I am only asking to combine the physical raise/lower toggle commands for the HMD visor and NVG. I understand what you're saying with the switch modifiers, and that would still work if this is implemented, but I'm trying to simplify the control bindings, not add complexity.
  19. This normally means either you didn't start the game in VR mode (tick the Enable VR headsets bo in DCS), or your OpenXR runtime failed to start. Drop your DCS log file here after repeating the problem so somebody can have a look. Will be C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\dcs.log (may just be text document named "dcs" if your Windows is hiding file extensions).
  20. I've released v1.6.0: https://github.com/dharmab/skyeye/releases/tag/v1.6.0 * New command: STROBE (similar to SPIKED) https://github.com/dharmab/skyeye/blob/main/docs/PLAYER.md#spikedstrobe * Bugfix: In some cases, calls could be anchored to the bullseye of coalition of the the target contact instead of the coalition of the caller. * Other minor fixes and internal developer improvements.
  21. You used too many acronyms, so I don't quite understand all the things you said. However, you do mention the Mirage F1BE. The OP probably should have added the Mirage F1BE to his original poll! I can see how that would be an awesome training plane (what it's supposed to be), but only if you have a human teacher (because there is no back seat automation otherwise.) The back seat of the BE, with it's television repeater sight, and duplicate instruments is a sight to behold and a joy to fly in. And frontline combat capable too! It's a wonderful airplane, and I'm surprised nobody mentioned it before, including me.
  22. This guy's Apache had LMFD color ADI. Which we do not.
  23. Any update on the paintkit Polychop?
  24. I've been re-reading the manual trying to pick up things I've missed the first few times around. The updated manual is excellent! With HAD as SOI, and an emitter designated, TMS-right should step to different targets. This is not working. What am I missing? Second question is of no importance: The F/A-18 in DCS can find and target Early Warning Radars with HARMs... the F-16 can't with either HAS or HAD. I suspect the F-16 implementation is more accurate. I'm just jealous. Thanks! -Ryan
  25. Speedywrx, Thanks, you've saved my evening!
