  3. I JUST added curves for this. It didn't occur to me I might need a larger dead zone. Formation flying is pretty much routine now in most cases, but the fine movements throw me off. For example, it's clear micro movements on the stick require micro movements on the throttle. Need to slow a bit, the nose comes down, so just a TOUCH of pitch up. But not too much! The pitch oscillations are killing me, roll not so much. I'll try a larger pitch curve. Also, I swapped in the stiffer springs which is helping. I've come so close!
  4. Ich dachte schon ich bin einfach zu blöd, aber ich erkenne auch rein gar nichts. In den Tutorial Videos ist das alles scharf, aber was ich auch versuche, es ist absolut nichts zu erkennen.
  5. I had this issue at first and found that it was some interaction between the .50s and the turbulence setting in my mission. When I disabled turbulence the nose wipping stopped.
  6. After a few years in other modules, I decided to revisit the Case 1. I remember how helpful these tracks were. Due to game updates, they no longer work correctly. If anyone wants to post some new tracks, I am sure they will be as beneficial to new people as they were to me.
  7. Its nice that we keep getting more and more realistic airframes to DCS, they are really cool and alot of fun. Would be alot of fun if DCS would actually run normaly. Since the last 3 or 4 updates the performance of DCS went into oblivion. crashes here, not loading there, 5 fps on a very standard mission. What happened there? DCS used to run quite well with around 60 fps for me. Now to be honest i dont have the absolute meta pc build but it worked fine for over a year. but since the recent updates its just terrible. So how about we finish the core games performance before adding 30 more amazing modules that people cant enjoy because the game runs <profanity>. Dont even get me started on bugs and glitches. My recent discovery while trying to fly the ka50 is that the trimmer has absolutely no effect whatsoever, so good luck trying to fly a helo that demands trim to be somewhat effective. Another very annoying thin is that the mouse curser in the menu, f10 and rearming screen is lagging like crazy when moving it at a normal speed. its fine when you move it very very slowly but i dont want to spend 10 minutes in the rearming screen trying to make a loadout. Please just fix the core game before adding new stuff.

  9. Problem here is that the F-16 Litening pod isn't real. It was a placeholder. No actual pod can "see" that well, and ED says it's a mish-mash of technologies. On the pother hand, the ATP is an attempt at reality. In other words, reality *is* the use case for the ATP. -Ryan
  10. I just ran that mission. Keep in mind it's the pilot's job to manoeuvre and position the helicopter in a way that gives Petrovich a proper line-of-sight to the target. By the time I spotted them (they are not easy to find), I was already pretty close and I managed to destroy 3 M-113s on the first pass. I had to come around for the last one, since it moved and was obstructed by smoke. I then approached from the opposite end, but Petrovich said: "target obstructed, need a different angle" so I broke off again and attacked from the side. This time I got the last M-113.
  11. Всем привет, это моя первая миссия, которую я постарался сделать для всех. Она достаточно простая, ваша задача взлететь с аэродрома базирования "Беслан" выдвинуться на ППМ1. В районе ППМ1 обнаружено 9 летательных аппаратов, их цель это ваш аэродром, ваша задача сбить их. Немного про механику: При подлёте в зону заспавнятся 3 летательных аппарата (далее ЛА), если повезет, то наземное ДРЛО доложит их позиции, запоминайте или записывайте это, потому что по не понятным мне причинам ДРЛО очень плохо работает в паре с Ка-50, у меня даже не получилось решить проблему того, что в меню радиопереговоров не появляется пункт ДРЛО. Будет 3 фазы налётов по 3 ЛА. После сбития группы, появляются новые, это сделано для того, чтобы упростить задачу, ведь погодные условия не благоприятные и думаю, что мало опытным лётчикам было бы тяжело отбить 9 ЛА за раз. Установка: Распаковываем архив. В нем мы увидим папку "KA50" её нужно перенести в папку missions по пути "C:\Users\User\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\" Файл с миссией находится в "KA50\m1-DestroyingBPLA.miz" Локализация пока-что только на русском, думаю в скором времени переведу на английский.   15. I created a single user mission using the Normandy map. Flying the P51D with 3 AI aircraft in the flight. I created a rectangular trigger zone called Muzak and created a ONE-TIME “Radio Transmission” trigger that plays an .ogg file and assigned the frequency as AM 131 mhz. Player Radio C is set to 131 mhz. During takeoff I can hear aircraft 2, 3 and 4 announce they are “rolling” and other normal communications (like wheels up, etc.). I can issue commands to the flight like changing formation etc. and the flight responds as expected (“roger”, “affirmative”). However after playing the .ogg file by selecting radio channel C and changing back to channel A, I can no longer issue commands to the flight. The trigger plays the .ogg file as it should but once it is done and I switch back to the normal frequency (118.45) I can’t seem to communicate with the flight.anymore. I tried issuing commands like changing formation and return to base but the flight doesn’t follow the commands or respond in any way. Hopefully this explanation allows you to recreate the issue.

  17. Just tried one of the generic hospital landing pads on the roof in the Huey. N 52°24'38.61" E 9°45'39.26" Some things I need to mention: 1. There is a fence around the roof that's quite high 2. After touchdown the helicopter seems to float above the roof top level. Seems the level where the helicopter comes to rest is the same height like the surrounding small wall, where the fence is mounted to. Thanks Jens

  20. Pure and simple. The real Yak-52 is capable of being flown at night. Can our one have cockpit lighting and external lights please.

  23. I finished this campaign yesterday, thumbs up !! Photo recon missions , railyard attacks at treetop level, flak interdiction, Gee bombing simulations and finally a night AI radar intercept where I managed to collide with the FW190 and limp home and land at Manston with the right stabilizer gone (a very shaky experience, the Mossie vibrated violently). Perfect for familiarization with the a/c and the procedures !
