  5. Try also the QuadView provided by mbucchia instead of the one built into Pimax. I have a Pimax OG myself and just got a new Crystal Super. With the mbucchia QV, I also see these transparent shadows, but only very faintly and only in certain views.
  6. Hallo und herzlich willkommen! deine Vita liest sich wie viele von uns „Älteren“. Bei mir war es ähnlich. war schon immer flugbegeistert wenn es auch im RL anders gekommen ist. Meine erste „sim“ war damals F-19 stealthfighter noch zu Commodore Zeiten. Später gefixt von Falcon 3.0 und Tornado von DI sowie anderen. Nach längerer Pause dann wieder eingestiegen in summing und hab mich in Helikopter verliebt. Zunächst mit zivilen Sims und dann auch zu DCS gefunden, weswegen ich andere Sims heute quasi gar nicht mehr starte

Instead of a review of my recently delivered Pimax Crystal Super, I am posting a copy of my complaint to Pimax here. --- Dear Sir or Madam, I am very sorry to inform you that I have to return my Pimax Crystal Super. I waited three long months for this product and was really excited when it was finally delivered. Apart from the long delivery time, I really like everything about the Crystal Super. However, the moment I used it for the first time was accompanied by bitter disappointment: I noticed a significant mura. To be honest, I don't understand why the mura wasn't noticed during your multiple quality checks. To me, this suggests that it is a systematic error that you accept. I had absolutely no Mura with my Crystal OG. I did some research and found that other users are also affected by this. Many may not even notice the problem because they use other applications or accept this problem. Mura is particularly noticeable when viewing uniform surfaces, such as in flight simulation. Since I only use VR for flight simulation, mura is a no-go for me. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to exchange the device - unless you have a batch that doesn't have mura. In that case, we could talk about an exchange. Otherwise, please let me know how to return the Crystal Super. Best regards

  10. Laut Wikipedia: Die hier genannte maximale Reichweite (ohne Zusatztanks) von 1.200 km ist dann wahrscheinlich auch eher ein theoretischer Wert, statt ein Realistischer. Die Kanone der Fulcrum hat aber auch nur 150 Schuss Munition...das reicht maximal für eine Handvoll Salven...und dafür den Sprit im Zusatztank opfern ? Das will gut überlegt sein...

  13. Hi @utplayer01 - did you get this resolved. I am also very new to this - having to learn blender (using 3.6) and the nuances around exports. What it would be worth doing is (as I was advised a few months ago) create a simple box - or two - with textures, add in the user box/bounding boxes then export to see what it is supposed to be like. In my experience this happens when there are duplicates of textures etc. I also make a change - see if it exports ok - then save it, and move on - so I am always aware of what change I have just made and whether it has broken anything. As per advice (also elsewhere) that I came across - open up the system console. There are two different exporters - Tobis - (GitHub - DCS-Creativity/BlenderEdmExporter: Blender EDM Exporter please read the readme) and EDMs - (edm blender plugin). Both come with handy readmes - which if followed avoid most issues...

  15. The Kiowa is such an amazing airframe, one of my favourite things to do is play on Contention server and doing recon for the team. On Contention the Kiowa can report recon targets without having to return to base, that makes the Kiowa an incredible powerful information source for the team, able to spot numerous targets in one-go (if you can survive sneaking out from the FARP without being hunted down).
  16. Hallo und Willkommen, Jo, da wähnst du gutes altes Zeug in deiner Biographie. Janes hat mir damals die Kinnlade runterfallen lassen da waren sogar Patronenhülsen die aus den Flügeln fielen. War Spektakulär für mich damals. Mit der F-18 hast du dir auch einen guten Allrounder geschnappt, das nächste was lohnt wäre der Carrier Usw.!!!
  17. Most large screen systems is made up of two or more screens in the same bezel. They look like one, and act as one, in the same way dual screens on a computer work. But if one fails you still have half the display area left. Should both fail, you still have the main instruments on the HUD/Helmet display. There are also usually a few more displays in the cockpit that can display back up instrumentation. At least that is the case when it comes to the JAS 39E. In addition to the WAD it has two smaller displays, one on each side of the pilots knees. Both can display backup instruments if needed. It also has a HUD and a helmet display. The Gripen, while having a touch display WAD, still retain bezel buttons, so it is not relying on touch inputs for anything important. I guess it is the same for many other WAD equipped aircraft.

Hi BIGNEWY as requested heres the Report for Destroy Unit ( Train Deactivation Not Working ) Also the trigger Deactivate Group does the same thing if you try and Deactivate a train. ----------------------- Heres the details using the miz or trk files - Compare the ground vehicle and train unit destroy after 10 seconds. Ground Vehicle destroyed by unit destroy script at 10 seconds = Ground Vehicle Disapeared from Game view. O.K. Ground Vehicle Disapeared from F10 Map view. O.K. ----- Train destroyed by unit destroy script at 10 seconds = Train does not Disapear from Game view and continues forwards forever off track route. FAULTY Train Disapeared from F10 Map view.   21. To get this trainwreck back on track... I very much fly a module for a period, then I fly another for a while.. Often due to playing multiplayer campaigns with my friends in "37:e stridsflygdivisionen". Earlier this year I flew the Viggen. An aircraft that is very dear to me. I love that module. Now I fly the Hornet in the current campaign we're running. I haven't flown it for a long time, but the Hornet is nice too. I also plan to learn the Phantom more in depth soon, because I have an idea for a multiplayer campaign for it. In addition to the fixed wing modules enjoy flying helicopters a lot in DCS. Especially in VR. Currently I am flying the old Huey a lot, part because it still works fine in VR, part because I am working on a multiplayer campaign for it. Before some update from ED or Meta messed up VR for me, my fav helicopter was the Kiowa, it´s so fun and easy to fly!

  23. I don't know. I hear people call her like that. I am Serbian, we use Cyrillic which poses no challenge to me. Only certain words which are not simmilar and new for me. For example "Топливо", in Serbian "Гориво". However this will be a nightmare for non Cyrillic speakers.
  24. Hallo Piloten, nachdem ich jetzt zwei Monate stiller Leser bin, habe ich mich endlich dazu aufgerafft, mich hier anzumelden. Ich werde bestimmt die eine oder andere Frage haben, natürlich nach Benutzung der Suchfunktion. Hoffentlich kann ich irgendwann auch etwas beitragen. DCS wurde mir vor ca. 3 Monaten in meinen Youtube Vorschlägen angezeigt und ich musste einfach klicken. Meine Kinnlade klappte runter, weil meine letzte Flugsimulationen war noch eine aus der "Jane´s" Reihe von 1996. Mein Erstflug war mit "Strike Commander" 1993. Was für ein krasser "Flugsimulator" , dachte ich damals. Jetzt heißt es: DCS üben, üben, üben und noch mehr üben. Wenn doch nur mehr Zeit wäre. Ihr kennt das bestimmt. Arbeit, Familie, Freunde. RL geht vor. Anyway, ich schaue, dass ich mir jede Woche zwei, drei Stunden freischaufele und fliegen übe. Im Moment in der F-18 über CWD oder in der Gegend um Vaziani. RL: Ich lebe mit meiner vierköpfigen Familie in der Nähe der Hauptstadt und bin zum 5. Mal "schnappszahlig" Jahre alt. Beruflich habe ich leider nichts mit der Fliegerei zu tun sondern sitze in einem Büro. Grüße @ all Julijenator PS: Ich hoffe das war jetzt nicht zu viel.
