Тыканье правописанием. особенно если оно не уместно не приемлемо для темы говорит об не уважении к собеседнику. Так что советую вернутся к теме разговора а не флудить и офтопить направо и налево с умным видом.

Maneuvering On The Ground With Differential Braking

I reinstalled the Christian Eagle to have a look at how it operates on the ground and low and behold, it doesn't handle any better but apparently because of a problem with the modeling of the brakes, not the tailwheel. As the plane is taxiing forward at the pace of a brisk walk, applying either brake will just bring the plane to a stop after causing it to very slightly begin a turn. With full brake applied on either side, you can get the plane to turn and the tailwheel does castor 90 degrees but this is only after applying a significant amount of power, almost identical to the problem with the Corsair. I don't know which is more annoying, the problem itself or the lack of M3 even acknowledging that the problem exists. -Rudel- has commented in several of the bug reports that they will look into it but absolutely nothing from them on this. I am a very disappointed customer to say the least. I don't mind being a bug tester during "early access" but it galls me to see this problem ignored. -

This tape recorder was my dream in the 80s. In the city where I lived, it was one in 70,000 people. It cost about as much as a new car, and the owner was considered a very rich man. He was allowed to travel abroad in the USSR! I wanted to buy one for myself in 2022. There is one master in Ukraine who restores the equipment and appearance of the device. It looks like new, with all the stickers, but it's not destiny anymore. He gave it away for $170 in perfect condition. -
The attached track shows a B-52 straight ahead at 45 nm. Note how its radar contact is clearly visible in MAP and BRST modes in the 50, 100 and 200 nm range scales as well as when holding the first-stage trigger in MAP mode in scales up to and including 50 nm. Conversely, the contact is not visible when in MAP mode in a greater scale than 50 nm when holding the first-stage trigger. first_stage.trk

I just checked. The near/far switch literally does nothing. I hear the same morse and when I'm landed in between the two beacons, the dial does not turn.

Yep, auto start+accelerated alignment=asking for problems, manual start+normal alignment=no issues. (page 333 of the EN manual)

I see the German Language is not actual. But in English there is no Fotos from C-130J

Reference the attached track showing Jester tracking an F-5 at 100 nm range in BRST mode. This works with all aircraft and ranges, even greater than 100 nm. The problem here is that there is no contact showing on the radar at that range. Jester is magically able to track the F-5 anyway. brst_jester.trk

On the F-4, the player works like a CD. CD appeared at the very end of the 80s. There is a DAT or video cassette in the F-4 DCS. -

Just confirmed HAGS has been off since I last disabled it a year ago but I guess windows re-enabled “Game mode” after a few updates. I just disabled it again. Might be re-enabled when I play steam games but I’ll test that later. For now it’s all disabled thanks for your help. -

Maybe the auto startup starts up the plane so quickly and the doppler nav device can't have enough time to warm up? IIRC when using fast alignment some nav datas are actually not provided by INS but by doppler nav system. So without doppler the nav system will fall back using air data to provide nav information,and some functions will be degraded.

More paths for accessibility are almost always nice..... BUT, here is something better: When I was getting back into the Hornet in 2021, to dust off major amounts of rust, I had put the whole manual from it (in 'docs' folder) in my cellphone on a easily accessible folder. Just that. Simple and much better than relying on internet connectivity. I did the same for the Warthog and it was a breeze to get a "bump" ironed out. I'm currently learning the Apache as well and you reminded me of what I did with the Hornet with this thread. Cool ideas. Manuals should be everywhere indeed. Try out putting in a hand held device the .pdf manual you most rely on... or every single one and I'd bet you won't regret it.

Hi, It seems it was the cause for me but there's a last problem. When I don't run TrackIR in admin mode, the reset/pause/precision keys don't work ingame. Head tracking is working very smooth in game but key inputs don't. In windows everything works as intended, I can pause/reset but it just doesn't apply when I'm in DCS fullscreen. If I do run TrackIR in admin mode then key inputs work ingame but the game freezes and crashes about 1 min after loading in the plane on the ground, like when I zoom inside to turn the battery on it freezes my system until I'm offered to kill the process. Any idea how to fix it ? These TIR freezes and crashes are driving me crazy. Thanks

Yeah but it can be a scavenger hunt for those that don't live on the website. I'm thinking from the casual user that needs it without going through different portals. The image I attached is what I ended up finding last night but the manual wasn't current. But like you said, most of those are not up to date compared to the folder path to get to the docs. I'm just a huge believer in the KISS method, keep it simple stupid.
