  2. oh thats neat.. glad to see that was included.. although hidden I know how to start MY WAY, but was a bit confused when the mission was rattling through stuff that i never really did. Thanks!
  3. Haha, I am up for that, maybe not a pint thought unless it's a pint of wine . Actually this is an interesting point, I doubt any of us would be so argumentative if we all met in the real world. Online forums are not representative of our personal character, so let's not be too harsh with each other, it's not people's real character represented in forum posts. I seldom play DCS these days but the Mig 29 may change that Mizzy
  4. ...for me it's about having a choice... having a checkbox in the options like camera/cockpit shake to turn it on or off would do the job
  5. @SteelPig Thanks for posting the FAQ information. Mike Force Team
  6. Thanks. Glad it stayes the same.
  7. Late answer, but better late than never... Low level Paveway II profiles are perfectly possible. They are described on official Paveway datasheets, and you can find practical advice here. However, as noted above auto lase is not recommended due to uncertainties regarding weapon's time of flight. A continuous manual lasing is therefore recommended.
  8. I do HAVE VA but I have yet to use it. If I could ever get DCS to work without issues then I could focus my time towards more software learning curves. Right now, I'm down to the P-51 Only and there aren't many places to fly that any more. I refuse to get into cockpits that are Busted and/or still in Development. It's just not worth the frustrations. I was thinking about using my phone ONLY to illustrate this Hover Issue which I'm sure still exists but I can't be bothered wasting any more time with it. So I guess I'll just Close This Thread and let someone else deal with it. With that said, it sounds like I'm the only one experiencing it and yet I'm not doing anything now that I haven't done a thousand times before without issue.
  9. it hasn't changed. each aircraft will have different mappings. the controller ID and name of DIFFs are the same for each AC. i have 27 AC and each is same name and ID.
  10. the whole premise was for 3rd parties "from here on out" rather than everyone. amending existing contracts was apparently.....really really REALLY hard.
  11. Hello i just got the S A342 and am trying to cold start it. I do exactly as i am told in the training mission but when i pull the fuel switch the tourqe just goes to max and starts beeping. then the engine seems to stop after a little while. I am waiting more than 20 seconds after turning on the pump. I also pull the fuel switch to just the point where the rotor starts spinning. I wait for the rotor rpm to match the engine rpm and the verry carefully add fuel little by little but no matter how carefull i am i can never get the fuel beyond a certain point withouth tourqe going to max. I also tried outside of the training mission and the same thing happend
  12. Please to move this topic here: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/1365-wish-list/ (this corner wasnt here earlier). TY.
  13. It installs a white phosphorous marker which will produce white smoke upon to mark where the missile impacted, which may provide a visual reference to other DEAD flights.
  14. Thank you for your replies, gentlemen. Corbeau (Elysian Angel) said Yes, the changes remain in effect, but only for the currently installed version. When you update the driver (or perform a restore), you must make the changes again. My answer is: OK, even if the changes I made remain as they were before updating the driver? Do I have to re-register?
  15. Has anybody tried to work with the radio of the Corsair ? I mean calling ATC or whatever. Would be fine if you could talk about your experiences. I tried using it by following Reflected tutorial, but I was unable to get any contact. Think early accessis no fun. To much basic functions are missing.
  16. Hi. I have the double headed collective and been using it without any problems, until now. The collective axis is faulty. Using the VPC Joystick Tester Tool I can see it recognizing a movement of the axis, maybe once every 20 seconds or so, and it only gives one instant input at the actual position that millisecond. Everything else is working like a charm. The stick has gotten a hit or two when moving the chair around, but I have opened the base controller box and all the wiring and setup looks intact, including the magnetometer for the collective axis. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have also tried to uninstall the VPC firmware and installed different versions. The collective appears in the USB list, but I'm not able to configure a profile or anything. It's like it doesn't recognize the collective as what it is. Also I get the following error in the windows "Game Controllers" when trying to access it "Your game controller is not connected correctly. Please verify that it is plugged into your computer." Thanks.
  17. I have noticed that the AGM45 has a new setting in the seeker head settings screen: WP Marker Charge, where you can choose Installed or Not Installed. Does anyone know what this setting does?
  18. Crash Again Failed to move .trk dcs crash? dcs.log-20250802-115432.zip
  19. Ах да, важный момент, возможно будет интересно, ИЛ2 не поддерживает Тоби
  20. 1. It can be different, anything from 10k fuel all the way down to 6k, I overshoot no matter how heavy it is. But I understand that the weight matters. 2. Kobuleti, almost at the sea level 3. Value by default. 20 degC I guess I believe in my case the wind is the main factor, cause I'm able to fly the pattern with no wind. Thank you all guys for meaningful answers, especially @Cepheus76 and @Bremspropeller
  21. Tried it. For my Rookie Mig-21, flying in a line and navigating was no problem, even if it couldnt reac+hold high altitude. Mig-21 had 4x missile + small fuel pod (unlimited fuel), it went no-AB and got up to 27000 feet, then dropped a bit. Maybe they need some more adjustment, but at least they cant just cheat physics. Interestingly, the Mig-19 climbs slightly faster and goes up to 40.000 feet with fuel and missiles. And, typically, the Mig-15 goes up to 46.000 feet no problem, climbing better than Mig-19 and 21. Stays up at 210 IAS and 3-4 degree AoA. --------------- edit: The default speed setting for waypoint is 430 knots for the 21, a bit lower than 19/21. Put it to 800 and they use AB and go up to+stay 33k feet altitude.

  23. I can only second LucShep's perspective, I basically had to make the same decision couple months ago, 27" was my goal. My only difference is that I already see 32" as 4k territory, ppi wise, but it is still acceptable, similar/better to a FHD @ 24" . I ended up with an Asus XC27ACG 1440p and really like it. I have an older 27" 1440p Asus Gsync that my son uses now and HDR makes a big difference, as that is were mine differ. I don't strive for max FPS, rather a solid base fps that rarely fluctuates, regardless what game I play.
  24. How heavy have you been in the pattern? How far above sea-level was the airport? How hot was the air? Since the flight-model overhaul I've noticed the Hornet tends to get fast in the base-turn when you are heavy and/or the air is hot like it can be in Nevada for example. When you decend in that turn like you've learned to do, you will get very fast very quick and overshoot the runway by far.
  25. I though the same, so I push a bit of accelerate time (I really don't know how much I waited) but nothing. Maybe I'll try a bit more.
  26. Given the fact there is a FAQ on their Discord, but not in this forum I've decided to copy it in here so people can find it better. From the FAQ on Airplane Simulation Company Discord as by August the 2. : Q. Which variants are planned? A. Stage 1- C-130J Block 6.5 Hercules, Tactical airlifter C-130J-30, Lockheed Martin designation for its 15 ft (4.6 m) extended fuselage variant; designated CC-130J by USAF for a short time after 2002., Release timeline to be confirmed for the following at a later date: MC-130J, Designed for Air Force Special Operations Command. Originally named Combat Shadow II., Q. Are the C130H or legacy models planned? A. No. Q. What is the expected release date? A. By the end of 2025. Q. Will the C-130J be able to transport weapons? A. We intend for the C-130 to be able to carry any warehouse items between bases. Q. CNI/FMS? A. Yes, a fully simulated FMS is included. We have also modeled airways/SIDS/stars, etc. Q. MOAB? A. Yes! Q. Will there be an AC variant? A. Depending on sales, we will consider an AC / Harvest Hawk in the future. Q. Airdrops? A. Yes for cargo and vehicles. Paratroops will be added when ED puts them in game. Q. Multicrew? A. Yes, at least 3. Q. Cargo Loading/Unloading without needing scripts? A. Yes. Any cargo dropped or landed will be added to the DCS warehouse system. Q. What defensive systems will the plane have? A. The plane will have an RWR, MWS, and IIRCM systems. The fidelity levels of these are limited by both the availability of unclassified information on those systems, as well as DCS itself. Q. What skins will be available? A. The list is unconfirmed at the time as there are so many national operators, but the artist will produce a paintkit in the future, after release, for livery makers. Q. Will we add the fuel probe? A. Possibly in future after initial release Hope this one will prevent some confusion and give answers to people who aren't using Discord. As soon as a more official FAQ arrives, this one can be closed and put into archives.
