Thanks for your help. Just 1 issue. I am trying to set up the (saitek x52 pro) 'I' rotary to be able to camera zoom view but it doesn't give me the option to fine tune axis. I tried a million things but no success. When i double click on other axis (like the throttle) it gives me the option to adjust. What am I doing wrong?
-
Already added a track for the A-4E-C, that shows the same thing. This is a USS Forrestal #3 Cat Bug. And the issue is the A-4E-C, regardless of your feelings, because it is the one that goes swimming. And you are? Bowie

@NineLine Will three-digit borts work for the East German AF livery?
-
Who you are. In his esoteric attempt to derail this well-documented Heatblur USS Forrestal Bug. Did he bother to check the Launch Speeds of those S-3B? For your, and Heatblur's information, on this now even more well-documented Bug: Heatblur's USS Forrestal - 18 kts Way/15 kts Wind at 350°R/32 kts WOD. - DCS S-3B/fully fueled Data Point: Weight coming off the main wheels Cat #1: 126 kts Cat #3: 116 kts Cat #2: 126 kts Cat #4: 126 kts Again, #3 Cat shoots slow. This is a Heatblur USS Forrestal bug, that manifests itself w/ non-augmented thrust A/C, namely the A-4E-C. And you are? @IronMike Bowie

Who are these people you mention?

This looks great. Who's files are these if you dont mind me asking.
-
I agree it's not great and needs to be changed. If you want something that works for the time being, you can edit the texture file in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\CH-47F\Cockpit\IndicationTextures\Indication-MFD-CH-47F-2.tga (free Paint.net works if you don't have anything else). Delete the offending boxes (most in the upper right corner). Example file below if you want to try It's not pretty but its readable in VR. The clutter doesn't bother me enough but happy to help if you want to mod it. Indication-MFD-CH-47F-2.tga

I'd also like to take this oppertunity to put out my rust implementation for the PFP (and software to manage it) Changes like ability to toggle between the different versions of winwings PFPs will be implemented in the future. Hope it helps someone https://github.com/Kurisu003/UWACS

@sirrah, I found a similar solution. I made my own animated image by using several PNG frames from a video. I used about 100 frames. Set each frame to start 0.1 sec (60 frames/sec) and presto. This facility is crude but adequate... It works but it bloats the MIZ file. I believe an animated GIF or PNG file would be a more civilized approach.

You would think so, but a surprising number of people, of all origin believe it was normal for SPO-15 to be rendered useless by your own radar.
-
Since DCS does not simulate bad maintenance or equipment issues, I guess this should not be a problem in DCS.

«Available for DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark 2»
Polonsky replied to grimnir's topic in DCS: MAD Black Shark Campaign
Thanks for the clarification Available for KA-50 Black Shark-2 BTW: I'd suggest rephrasing the statement above in the store page on steam as "Compatible with legacy KA-50 Black Shark-2" or "Available for both KA-50 Black Shark-2 and Ka-50 Black Shark-3" to avoid confusion. -
No? It is clear from talking to many people that radar overspill onto the RWR was not “normal” but an issue. And DCS does not simulate bad maintenance or equipment issues. And if F-14/15/18 firing sparrow is truly indistinguishable, it is quite a difference that Western RWR can magically detect it. After all, can they detect pseudo faked CW waveform of N-019?

While waiting for gif support, you can easily create simple gif's already (admittedly very crude and time consuming)

Она слишком тусклая. И светит на метров 10. Не больше А хотелось бы полноценный прожектор, как на том скрине что я скинул

Help to understand why JTAC does not work ! (eternal issue)
vctpil replied to vctpil's topic in Mission Editor
Hi, Just want to know if somebody make any investigations about this problem? Thanks, Vincent -
My guess this is not normal, no hydraulic pressure no flight controls and Martin Baker is your friend!

Nice stuff man ! It really pays off to go high and fast at launch, the missile retains a lot of energy ! Yes, i only seem to get that in a boresight shot. One could get lucky and get a target in front of the missile, but it's an unlikely situation. At any rate, here is my follow-up video:

The only time the HSI will follow the A/C for me is if I keep repeatedly pressing the EGI1 button on the CDU, and even then it only "catches" up the that location of the button press, it doesn't follow the A/C. Makes navigating tough. It only spins if I change heading. Sometimes it will jump back to the original startup airfield if I fly too far away. I had to keep my track short to keep the size down so I could upload it, so I didn't fly too far this time. Thanks! Caucasus Frontlines Foothold Rev - Live-20250908-080740.trk

My game is crashing, but still working at background can click switches etc. When I close the crash window, the game closes. I had no problems yesterday on the same server and with the same jet(phantom). dcs.log-20250908-132003.zip

I hope they did not do that. Hopefully ED will come at us and confirm if they nerfed it or not.

There is also a posting there and private messages with Maestro but I'm afraid nobody cares. If u have the map and u care feel free to refresh the thread. I'm fed up with this forum. -
June 2025 - DCS VR Optimization Stutter/Jitter Generic Checklist
Nedum replied to Dangerzone's topic in Virtual Reality
@Dangerzone the line about Hot Plug are not necessary anymore. It works perfect with the buttons in the system tab. You can enable or disable Hot Plug in the game on the fly. With the lines in the autoexec.cfg you are unable to use those buttons, which could cause problems, because most people are unable to remember what they have written in the autoexec.cfg after a few weeks. Or is there a reason to make it the autoexec way? -
unable to reproduce Cargo falling through the Earth
Pribs86 replied to Pribs86's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'll have to fly it again later sometime today and just to test this again. My track file was way too large to attach again. -
All is based on either manual or some other RL info but sounds to me like this RWR is too "nerfed" for the OP. I suggest to wait and test before judging.
