Once you've seen these two videos, you will understand why I think they deserve a sepparate topic. 30 minutes of cockpit sound and video, startup to shutdown. Clicks, clocks, hydraulics, fans... unedited, you hear it all. First one is front view, and second one is back view showing the pilot. View of the instruments and radio sounds would make it perfect, but it's amazing anyway. It's also good for ED reference if at some time they decide to model the 29 :) And I should say it right away - don't try this stuff in LO ;) I will try to get more info on the flight, but I can tell you that it is an Yugoslav MiG-29, and the time frame is most likely '97-'98. Hello together, I am new here, my name is Sebastian, almost 30 years old, living in Germany. Currently, I have two problems: 1. My Logitech 3d PRO shows no FF-effects, although the digits show 100 on the control-panel. The logitech profiler is running. 2. Every new mission I have to activate the second CPU of my AMD X2 64 6000+. I use XP, not Vista. From reading through the forum I found some hints concerning multi-core use with Vista, but what about XP? Actually, I cannot see much difference between one and two CPUs. Frames are not the best, but it is flyable. Microsoft FS runs much better... My graphic card is a 8800 GTS with 765 mb.

Is that a pro or a con? :)

Во первых выбирай выражения! Не вражина, а противник или опонент. Во вторых 5 самолетов синей команды дисконектило, были фризы и лаги. Что свело на нет все усилия выполнить задачу на 100% синей команде. Нам просто второй раз тотально не везет. Черная полоса заканчивается белой, так что синяя команда перевернула эту лагающую странику. И готовимся к следующей битве.

Have you made a game-update of the TrackIR-software, so it supports new games like BlackShark? You can do that from the main window of the TrackIR software under "Update". Click "Game Update" for latest games support and just to be sure, also try the "Software Update", to be sure you have the latest TrackIR-software installed. Other than that, I recommend the FAQ-sticky above. Loads of informations how to set up BlackShark, controllers and TrackIR.

After recent move to new apartment my setup (work and flight sim) looks like this:

Get a GTX260 Core 216. The performance of that card will smoke an 8800 in sli. I had Crysis running max resolution and max settings at 40fps with a core 216.

Well that depends, is it an ATI? If so, it's your graphics card and you should switch to nVidia. :P (DISCLAIMER: I am not being serious and the main reason I faithfully use nVidia is that it's so much easier to follow just one line of products.) Anyways, that does seem like a strange problem. Where do you have DCS installed? Also, do you know how to verify that the windows registry entries have not had something weird happen to them? Oh, and does this only happen with Hyperlobby?

two new picts the right down side panel is now finish. [ATTACH]25399[/ATTACH] and i am now working on the sides of the wind screen. it seems not very important but replacing the pink joint on the front glass instead of the two black flikering lines helps a lot in flight when you are searching for a litlle nasty stinger:) [ATTACH]25400[/ATTACH] still on the works with this. gn

It's not only the log-writing that creates lagging, but the errors that are logged are creating lagging as well. Have you thought about the impact on the game performance that is caused by wrong data formats and / or file paths ?? I recommend to look into the error log and eliminate the malfunctions rather than just ignoring them.
