It's been fun all these years hanging around and salivating over screenies. This community is the best, and dare I say, ED sims attract the most diverse and knowledgeable bunch of sim junkies. Admit it, the lot of you eat military encyclopedias and aircraft grade rivets, then wash those down with jet fuel. :D Anywiggle...I landed a hotel job in an Island way south of Thailand and I'm leaving in a week or so. I'll find out exactly when comes Monday. I'm happy I got this job because it's a five star hotel which means an opportunity to make serious money. The majority of the guess on this Island are Europeans and I hope u guys tips well. :D The bummer is, I gotta leave my four-year-old daughter with her grandmother in Bangkok. I have raised her on my own since she was six-month-old, so this really gonna suck. As for my scripts, my stupid comp died so I have to get a new one and revise them before I send them out. peace

Hey ;] I was thinking how you work there when mind came to me, and maybe would you like to show your work from kitchen? I mean your offices, work area, people who work there ect, scratches of LO and DCS, how do you discuss about future plans, funny moments :D I rather know you won't show but IMHO it's interesting :P

I just saw a cool overview of the A10C on Future Weapons. They have the video of it up on their websie under season 3. The flight sim Mac gets to fly is amazing....is this the one that ED is working on???? http://military.discovery.com/videos/futureweapons-season-three/ You can't watch the whole episode but the clip is pretty cool.

You know X-man, i dont care about scientists which knowledge ends on borders achieved by others. Those are good for practical use in LABs. You know in 1910 you wouldnt have get a job if you would come along with the idea to "bend" light. Your boss would have shown you the door as nut-case, yet 9 years later it was proofen..... It is way to easy to quote established science and sit or hide behind it, in order to "be right". No. You are mistaken - this isn't meant to show that I am smarter than you are. Nothing of the sort. It is intended to show that you are in over your head. Quite right, it isn't. No ... the one who doesn't see the whole picture is you. And the reason you cannot see the whole picture is because you lack the knowledge required to see it. You have failed to demonstrate an understanding of the physics you claim are wrong. Not ONLY you have failed to demonstrate an understanding of them, but you have done so on the basis of dismissing an lengthy, rigorous history of science as the product of people with closed minds. NOT on the merits of observation and physics, nor mathematics, or anything of the sort. I was just a 'Bahaha I saw a couple papers and I know better than you because I've got imagination!'. Some argument :) You have further refused to attempt debunking existing physics. This is because you don't understand them, or you fear you'll be unable to - same thing, really. You have then produced a bunch of sham links. I came up with a way to test over-unity devices using free energy of any sort. Such a test has never been done, and you have failed to address my argument. My test does not require advanced knowledge of physics, and it is simple to perform, and not very expensive either. @Borchi: When you say it would be great to have Simmod (or something similar) back up again, what exactly do you mean? The infrastructure (Website/Forums) or the guys you worked with? If it's just about the forums with the different open and closed areas for chosen 3D and texture artists and their visitors, I'm pretty sure that's not such a problem. Just let me know what kind of environment you need to work and I'll see what I can do!

I've been using ATi cards with LO since 2003, and now with DCS, and i've never had any performance problems...why the heck would it be an issue? :huh:

AP needs direct hits and loses penetration power with distance, so as it's currently modelled, it makes no sense to engage with AP from 4km, where with HE it often works.

I'm not a Beta-Tester, but from the information available on the forums even I can tell you're wrong: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=44375&page=6 According to this thread and Wags' post, A-10C was in pre-alpha a week ago. I doubt it has jumped through alpha right into beta in just 10 days. Give them some time. It was posted before that we will see solid information on A-10C in early 2010. If we'll get some information before that, it's probably some more thrilling screenshots as ED learned to only give information about releases, if they are rock-solid.

совок - самый ужасный рынок в москве имхо. Цены берутся с потолка, разве что есть пара магазинчиков, где цены вменяемые. Но в целом за например мою мышку xl-755k, которую я в олди купил за 600р. с копейками, хотели от 1000 до 2000 за предыдущую модель (755fs), в одном месте была в прайсе за 750р. - но не было в наличии. В общем там можно походить, поглазеть - но покупать лучше в нормальных магазинах, как был санрайз, пока он тазом непонятным не накрылся ) - и какими сейчас являются олди, фцентр, никс и прочие. В общем прайс.ру вам в помощь :)

i dont understand where do you see the hate. i just stated some realities here, but i can tell reality hurts. next time ill say it like this: "ok you little babies, are you ready for correcting you beautiful, excellent works, please, please, please? i dont want to upset you but you have some errors around and if you dont mind, but only if you dont mind, i will try to point them. do you allow me? thank you" this kind of courtesy is not my style but ill do it if you all think it has to be done. i believe less words and more work is the better way, even if i risk to appear rude. and the last thing is that i never thouched the point of how hard is the 3d working so, why are you telling me these things? it seems to me you look for excuses, to forget the real reason we are talking about: respecting the blueprints and the real plane by doing some researches...

Отличнейший Л-39! Лучший из всех аддонов что я видел под FSX. Под шторкой обычные задания - типа коробочки, вылета в зону и возврата обратно, перелет с одного аэродрома на другой, все как в реале. На нем же можно летать двум людям по сети - один за студента, второй за инструктора, с инструкторского места можно вырубать разные приборы и подсистемы студенту, чтобы сделать его жизнь веселей :) Очень порадовала динамика, моментальная загрузка текстур (вообще пока летал на этом самолетике забыл что в ФСХ текстуры имеют свойство подгружаться после смены видов), проработка авионики, эффекты типа обледенения фонаря, и капелек дождя в лучах посадочных фар... Я в восторге! :)
