1.2.1 FC2 patch development is finished. This patch includes a number of critical updates to improve the stability of the simulation. Many uncovered errors were corrected and some enhancements were added. For a more complete list of changes and improvements, please refer to the ReadMe1.2.1 file. I dont know how widespread the problem is right now, but we've managed to identify it on 3 servers. By adding a longer, custom integrity check-list the server may revert back to default config. You will identify it by the server name becoming FC2 again. We've been able to use the workaround on 3 servers and make the server working again. The workaround is: Shut down the server of course, then ... 1. Go to the servers ".\Eagle Dynamics\LockOn Flaming Cliffs 2\Scripts\net\main.lua" 2. Use NOTEPAD++ or other supported editors, go find line 23: table.append(dest, v) into table.insert(dest, v) 3. save the file Start the server back up - it should be working now.

Just d/loaded and installed black shark and blimey, how heavy is it!!! I play FSX and cope with that, but when I did the 'how to start' the KA50 tutorial, I lost it after a few switches :joystick: I went through some of the others, got to the combat part, managed to shoot the cannon and rockets, but struggled loads on the guided missiles. I know I've only been playing for a few hours, but is there any tips to help get into it? I even struggle flying, the 'trimmer' and auto pilot I dont get, lol. I cheat and use the 'auto start' to get going, dunno how I will ever remember the start sequence :huh: So much to learn!!!:helpsmilie:

Current AESA's signals are hard to intercept to other fighters, you realy dont need IRST to track anything short of a heat seeker launch off boresight. Electro optical devices these days are best used to ID targets when rules of engagements requires it, or slave radars and other sensors from helmet inputs. This is the type of use pilots are commenting. Not to open up the radar is a safe measure against ELINT in peace time. At war you want to use AESA for engagements. I just dont see the logic of keeping one target locked with IRST to track others with the radar, it wont need that at all. Further, IRST gimbal limits are much more limited than that or radars these days.

Of course, if I want to mess around and have fun, I just skip the half hour of mission planning and leave the checklist book closed. Or if I'm really want to mess around I'll do more than one pass over the target and/or some strafing runs. Certainly don't need to fly some poor money spinning arcade game to relax and have fun. Hell, some of us find spending an hour planning a mission, flying 90 mins to target with a trip to the tanker, dropping a couple of LGBs and flying the 90 mins home the most fun you can have in front of a PC. Or is that just me?:pilotfly:

Почему происходит рекошет от воды при стрельбе из пушки? Выглядит как в дешёвой 8битной игрушке. И ещё, как выйти из чата , если не хочу сейчас отправлять сообщение? Не нашёл в настройках. В предыдущей версии чат отключался теми же кнопками что и включ. Очень неудобно, к тому же кнопки Ctrl и Alt зачем то блокируют всё управление.

purchase but do NOT try to install FC2 cos installer will then ask for FC1 as well. Something messed up in installer. Wait for LOMAC, install it first, then - and only then - install FC2. Good luck and have patience :)

Hi Wolverine, A few days ago I tried to split rearm.lua into multiple files, one per airplane. The reasoning behind it being that some multiplayer servers would be interested in checking the integrity of the rearming menus on a per plane basis, for example checking the fighter payloads but not the bomber ones. I succeeded in splitting rearm.lua by using a dofile() command for each aircraft, as explained in this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=894232&postcount=18 You may want to consider trying this out for your mod. I can't guarantee it will work, but if it does it will make your mod even better suited for multiplayer servers. S! Case

Sitting on Kutaisi AB in a Su-25A on 104th Dedicated server whilst 104th_Polecat and MBot tested out the Ka-50 :D I have to say, seeing them flying around/landing, shooting rockets/missiles/guns it was very smooth and stable, no lag or anything.
