Yeah you need windows setup as a span. I tested and found a horizontal span setup has better frame rates than a vertical. So I setup as a horizontal span in windows, but physically as vertical. In your monitor config file for DCS, you set the second as viewdy = -0.8, i.e looking downward from the main view. You could go -1, but I prefer it at -0.8 as I find -1 is going too far down. In your options.lua, you set the width = the total pixel width of both monitors, and you point to your new monitor config. I did find the cockpit view a bit small compared to the top, because the bottom monitor wasn't a widescreen, so I zoomed the bottom one with a trick in the config file. If you need to do this, you can see how I did that here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=890462#post890462 But if both monitors are the same size, you shouldn't need to zoom the bottom one. The screenshot is Su-25t but I also had it on Ka-50. Can't wait to get my new 30" and it is 30" + 24" :joystick:

Both mods for 1.02 version Hi Guys, This is great, I will learn alot for the things I need quickly like the weapons panel and the autopilot. For 1.02 I found some changes needed.The original shortcuts mod causes you to start with no cursor and you have to hit lalt+c to get it. And the resource folder has changed. So I updated the LUA script to suit the 1.0.2 patch, and set the folders up.I combined both your mods into a modman package for the 1.02 version I hope you don't mind :) I find it easier this way. First I used the information from the miguez' mod that Tool Tips are actually called hints in all configuration files. At least in those I've seen. And there I found \DCSBS\FUI\Resources\DHint.res containing \fonttype{font_tiny} entry. So the only thing left was to find out a font used by DCS which I could replace the "tiny" with. The HUD font didn't work :D I found the info in \DCSBS\FUI\Fonts.cfg Still I would appreciate if devs/testers would share their knowledge on possible custom font setting. . Вот мои два примера успешных уходов от AIM-120 при помощи кадушки. После многих неуспешных, само собой (опытным летуном я себя не считаю, просьба ногами не пинать). Заметил, что при выполнении кадушки очень важно не допустить снижения скорости ниже 900, а лучше держать более 1000. В связи с этим вопрос к умеющим: имеются ли какие-то общие рекомендации по выполнению кадушки7 за чем следить, какие ограничения и т.д. Наверняка же у кого-нибудь есть какое-то подобие методики, не все же делается по наитию... Трек 1 Трек 2 ЗЫ Это копия моего поста в этой теме, но ее безнадежно зафлудили. А обсудить хотелось бы.

I did a test with only Overcast since thats the one that seems causing more issues. I'm on Windows 64Bit Ult. Memory is system managed (I dont recommend playing with VM setting on win 7). Default services. OS is freshly (last weekend) installed. For me it was pretty stable... My system specs are in my sig. Here are my results after 15 min of flight: My settings: I love how windows seven manages his memory. I can't stress enough to let the services for memory management at default settings. Unlike Xp where tweaking memory and VM is almost necessary, but under 7. Not required. Hope this helps. Edit: let me know if you want me to redo the test at different settings. Sorry to hear that the hotfix didnt work, I used it because of sabnzdb, as soon as it started it would within about 10 minutes or more it would eat up the majority of my 4 gig of ram, rising every 2-3 seconds by a few MB, I eventually found the hotfix and it worked a treat. Do you disable your antivirus whilst playing ? as maybe the the realtime protection is scanning every file that lockon is opening and using thus increasing the memory ?

This is my hones opinion; so please don't say I'm wrong; it is just my opinion: If I were a superhero I would destroy the North Korean regimen; but the trouble is that I would be considered a criminal by the North Korean people because the amount of indoctrination, the block form the western world completely blind their eyes. Es ist auch bekannt das die Kдmpfer in Afghanistan damals (und Heute?) an, damals sehr aktuelle Waffensysteme kamen, die zum grosssen Teil sogar in Russland entwickelt und gefertigt wurden (AK-47, RPG Panzerfaust, Mцrser, Granatwerfer, MG's, etc.). Bevor die Mudshahedin die Stinger von den Amis bekammen (im Russland-Afghanistan Konflikt), haben sie die Mi-24 HIND mit uralten RPG1 Panzerfдusten abgeschossen. Ein Mullah der Mudshahedin soll gesagt haben: "Um den Krieg zu gewinnen brauchen wir nur Alah und mehr Stingers!!" (Quelle: nicht mehr genauer bekannt; war in einer TV-Doku, nicht aus Amerika, in der ein ehem. Я исхожу из простейших законов физики. Ипульсы самолетов отличаются, кинетическая энергия разная. Скорость в 180 кмч недостаточно, чтобы корректно высоту замерять. Причем подниматься вверх нужно под 90 градусов тангажа, перпендикулярно потоку. Сам сделал тоже несколько замеров, получил сильно отличающиеся цифры, померить нереально. Я конечно не профи, но то , что офлайн и онлайн сильно отличаются -факт. От 120 в офлайне уходить можно (посмотрите и оцените, правда с ярлычками но..), а вот в онлайне на порядок тяжелей, я и послабей ситуации не смог преодолеть. Все говорят про 120-ю крутую, а про ЭР-ку никто, а вот она то милая стала очень крутой. Если не произойдет срыв практически уйти невозможно 4F15-2миг29.trk
