  4. "Up there in Aberdeenshire" do you actually have any idea how far away the aircraft you're looking at are? Is this based on professional observations? Are you actually seeing every aircraft? I'm guessing no, no, and no.

  5. I have the same addons and I have edited this file to improve the framerate also with this mods (the original mods don't edit this file, for that reason i have done it) check it out a tell me if you notice any framerate change.... aap

  6. I know who took a point away from me. I thought it was unfair and childish. I asked a fair request, fair as to any other forum I have ever attended. But then again, I don't care. I avoid the guy and his server. I quit posting so much, and rethought the friendly community I thought I had encountered here. A few guys have been very helpful to me here at DCS, both on the the forums and the staff programmers.

  7. More detailed: 1. Open your triggers dialog by clicking on the "Set rules for trigger" button on the left of the mission editor. 2. Under the leftmost box, click "NEW", set TYPE to 1 ONCE and then call it something like "Hostile Group Dead". 3. Under the middle box, click "NEW" and then select "TYPE" as "GROUP DEAD" and select your group. 4. Under the right box, click "NEW" and then select "ACTION" as "FLAG ON" and, say, 5. 5. Go to your AFAC flight, select the waypoint you want it to orbit. 6. Click ADVANCED, under the waypoint selector, click ADD, set TYPE to Perform Action and ACTION to Orbit. 7. While Orbit is selected, press STOP CONDITION and set IS USER to 5. Voila! Now the AFAC will hold in orbit until the group is dead. :) I think IS USER is really IS USER FLAG but the value box is so large it covers the FLAG bit...

  8. Hmmmm ok a1adin, thanks for the clarification... I think I understand now from what you've said, and I think that what you're describing is a TrackIR specific feature? There is nothing in the Head Tracker API that relates to a feature like you describe, so I'm sorry, but I don't think there's anything I can do to make it work how you would like :(

Having flown sim games for the last 20 years,ranging from C64-amiga-pc games such as knights of sky,falcon1-4,gunship series,f117stealthfighter,European air war,aces of the paciffic,aces over europe,A10 tankbuster by sierra.All janes chopper and flight sims both modern and ww2.Il2 sturmovik series,and of course Lockon.And an avid fan of Rise of flight but i was in need for some groundpounding action,and had been looking a dcs A10 for a while-and decided to buy it. My first reaction was Sh1t thats a big manual and loads of buttons to remember.:book: Having some problem in the beginning what to assign where on the Logitech g940 system,but after some training missions and freeflight missions,the buttons where logical aranged and i was ready too try a real Mission. Heres the result off my first combat sortie in A10,the mission used was shooting gallery. starting on runway and set all master weapons on and begining to setting up maverick to align,and then racing down the runway with my trusting wingman.Speeding towards waypoint 2 all calm,some friendly units chatter away and giving there helping hand.. Towards waypoint 3,wingman alerting up! target 12-1 o clock.Ok so far- maverick up a and lock on a AA unit blam hes a gooner,locking on a new target and giving my wingman order to attack my target boom a another AA gone.Now my friendly a10 units whants move in on a piece of action,sure why not:P im now circulation outside the enemys field of fire and sending attack orders to my wingman,and then im rolling in with the cannon blazing on a soft target hes gone,looking back over my right shoulder i see aa fire coming at me:joystick: hard banking too the right and almost in stalling range the plane shudders from bullets that hits it.Whoooo im still flying,the mfd on left no longer working-ok all else is fine,turning around and seeing my wingman blowing one target up,and the friendly wing coming in and blowing something else up-my thought at this time is yeah this is so cool.Now im making my run on a tank shredding it to pieces with the cannon-doing a nice fly by:) looking back at burning targets,then good old buddy enemy AA fires on me again :helpsmilie:. Master caution starts shouting-left engine on fire,right mfd gone too,using the fire extinguiser and shutting engine down.The plane looks like swisschesse from the outside.Starting too counter trim the plane and heading for homebase losing some altitude and speed along the painfully long way home,mastercaution this and that ohh shut up.The base is now in Vfr range and im getting a felling i can make this,out goes the landing gear and flaps and base is getting closer.SNAFU the sole engine thats has been running starts to loosing power,with a happy smile i make landing but blowing the front tire in process-well i stop faster.. skiding down along the runway and coming to a halt,no use in trying to nose steer the plane to a parking stop.I shut the engine down and hit the end mission button.Fu.k Yeah i made it.There was even a little shinny medal from the CO.Looking at the logbook with a smile and starts up a new mission.......:thumbup:

  13. It says in the manual "When the pilot is indeed very cold, he will start to shiver and falsely read the wrong airspeed from the Air Speed Indicator. To correct this, turn on the Pilot Heater." :pilotfly:

  14. If you edit the Orbit waypoint option, go to 'Stop Condition,' there's an option there titled 'User,' this means Flags that the user specifies. Set that to whatever numbered flag is activated when the desired group is dead (all it requires is the flag's number).

  16. Во-первых наших танков там вероятнее всего не будет, противником будут иранцы с изрядной примесью изральских тенологий. Во-вторых, все что показано в роликах и на скринах в большенстве своем уже существут в изрядных количествах (за исключением пожалуй вертолетов). В-третьих, Арма- это тактический, а не процедурный симулятов и характеристики техники в не восзоданы на столько, что бы отразить тактику ее применения (в том числе во взаимодейиствии с другой техникой и пехотой) и то что БИСам не охота платить нашим вертолетным заводам за лицензию это никак не меняет, зто они обещали FM из TOH для вертолетов.

  17. Thats an altogether different task, which would require a massive amount of time and effort... one day i might attempt it :P The screenshots below highlights my final version of a terrain noise texture i've been creating, i think that particular mod is ready for release :)

  18. Whispers are an excellent tool in TS3. Nice post Tyger. Perhaps one day VOIP will be included in the Sim. I think this will be the only way to ensure everyone is linked together. A sim like this more than any other game requires voice comms.

Мне лично вообще пофиг заплатит кто нибудь еще кроме меня. да и потом, 1000 рублей для меня поверте тоже деньги, потому что траты по жизни тоже не хилые. На все про все,... читсыми остается 8000 р в месяц. Просто раз я тему создал, значит надо с чего то стратовать боее менен заметного. .. ну не со 100 же рублей. ... Нитко бы всерьез не отнесся........... БЛИН!!!! где реквизиты? Чо все молчат как партизаны?

  20. If you're not opposed to extracting the mission, inserting Lua at the proper place, then re-zipping the mission back to a .miz, you could probably do this now. However, every time you saved the mission again in the mission editor, you would have to re-insert the script. Anyway, in one trigger action that was triggered continously starting at the start of the course, you'd have to add a global variable that initialized itself to zero if not defined, then if defined, added did var = var + 1 every time the trigger is run: if course_time == nil then course_time = 0 else course_time = course_time + 1 end Thus "course_time" equals the number of seconds since the course was started, since a continuous trigger is evaluated once every second. Now in another trigger action, the one you want to display the course_time in, then you'd want this code (if I remember the a_out_text_delay function correctly): a_out_text_delay('Your course time was ' .. tostring(course_time) .. ' seconds.', 30) And your course time should display for 30 seconds. Otherwise, if you wait till the Black Shark/A-10C, it could be a lot easier then, especially with a ./Scripts/net/server.lua mod I am currently working on for A-10C. Especially if I add a "timer display" function. I tell you what, attach the mission, tell me which triggers you want to start the course timing in (needs to be a "Continuous") and which triggers you want to display your course time in (needs to be a "Once"), and I'll try inserting it myself. But if it doesn't work, I can't be held accountable :P I also don't really have the time to piddle around with it that much... got too much other stuff to do. I could give it a go or two though. Make sure your continuous trigger, after it starts going off, keeps going off forever... so you probably need a third trigger, a "Once" type, to make a flag set to true once someone enters the beginning of the course, and run the continuous trigger with that flag being true as the only condition.

Axion: I tried the software but unfortunately it doesn't work with the kit, too bad because it looks good with the option to select the monitor. Maybe the best choice right now is sell it and save more money to buy a monitor with touchscreen integrated. Anyway Thank you very much for your help guys, really appreciate it. :thumbup:
