  1. I love the way you're implicitly dictating what ED's marketing / release schedule needs to be! Y'know this heavy handed statement is exactly why they're not talking as much this time round (compared to pre A-10C)??

  3. I feel the same. In the upcoming months (years?) ED is going to release sveral titles but the most awaited product is still hidden. Refurbished FC isn't interesting for me (maybe I'm wrong). P-51D ->

  7. No problem. It's unusual for me to be able to answer questions, so I relish the chance. Usually I leave it for someone who is much more knowledgeable (almost everyone here), someone gets there first, or a combination of both :D

  10. funny how everyone wants to have their own thread to be this official thread for this and that ED will make their own thread about it when they want and have something to share, and most certainly it will not be in this thread

  13. Little known fact: Vista and Win7 both ship with an x86 and x64 based disk. If you still have your license key, you can download a 30 day trial x64 disk and install it using your license. And you should move to a 64 bit system, that way you dont waste any resources with your computer.

  14. I would be surprised if we see FC3 let alone worrying if it will be kept for the DCS modules to come. I am sorry to say that I have no Trust in anything ED/TFC have to say at the moment. They are not very open to keeping customers abreast of their Path in regards to New Products. I know things can change but if they do then follow up with a News Update. How hard is this?

  15. Hopefully, it will not be so. If FC3 turns out to be just another FC2 (FC2 + graphics and ME updates since FC2), I will be very disappointed and will reconsider buying it.

  16. Very nice information here. Moreover as I see, this question is very actual for many people indeed. Personally I totally agree with author opinion about this subject and I think that it would be really interesting to create such discussion with other this website visitors. Anyway thanks a lot one more time for the great and informative publication. And I will definitely be waiting for more such nice entries like this one from you.

  18. Center floor module release I have a new section posted in the original release post. The center floor section. This is the first of several more sections that I will be posting in the next couple weeks. This one is fixed for .703" (3/4 nominal) plywood, since nobody seems to be using MDF, and I don't plan to either. The gap between pieces has been reduced to .005" per side, for a much tighter fit. If you need to remove the inner corner radius of your bit, may I suggest not worrying about it on the CNC, and just take a wood file to it afterwards. Quick and simple. This layout will work for one 4x8 sheet, or four 2x4 sheets. The hole cut out of the floor is optional but would theoretically allow you access (from underneath) to the screws that mount the TM warthog base cylinder to the center pedestal. The cutout is completely covered by the pedestal. I have not gone back and fixed the previously released modules yet, but it's on my to-do list.
