  1. I'd like to add some, but I need to find good quality models to build upon. Unfortunately it's much harder finding suitable Cold War NATO models. But I'm always searching and collecting. Which NATO assets would you suggest are the most wanted ones?
  2. Good eye! I was too quick judging it by the egg shaped turret. It's most likely a T-54-3 which was the first version that looked more like the later models. The barrel also points to this.

  4. Nope, the Cold War assets are suppose to represent the older versions. The Igla versions are much newer. Not at the moment, but you never know. Yep, if I find good models I might add some of them. Yep, I would really like to do that. I'm still looking and collecting good models. It's not that easy for the older systems. Usually the radars are the hardest to obtain. It's not in the plans at the moment. But I never rule anything out for the future.

  6. Hey guys! I've been working on a set of Russian Cold War assets that will be added to the Russian pack. I hope you'll like them! They will all have LODs, different liveries and will fit perfectly with the Germany map and Cold War missions/scenarios. And since I have your attention, all donations no matter how small are welcome, all donations goes into getting better and better models for my assets.   7. I will most likely add a tractor/trailer combination to the US pack in the future. Maybe both the M983/M870 and the M1070/M1000.
  8. I think these are all the versions I currently have in the US pack. With the M983 at the top.
  9. Are you using an old version of the US pack? I fixed that issue quite some time ago. I just tried the latest version. And it worked fine. It's definitely a possibility, it's still the issue with creating good enough missiles of this type as mods.
  10. From the changelog: With every update of the mod packs, I remove the assets that are now in DCS core.
  11. Sure! I just had to spend some time working on updates and fixes for the core assets. Especially since it was my first update and I needed to understand the process. But as I said earlier, I intentionally started the mod pack updates with the smaller packages, to get a feeling what needed to be done. The work is pretty much linear with the number of assets in a pack. So it takes time. But I'm now back at it again. Just stay tuned. That's correct. The Buk TELAR have its own FCR. Which in itself makes it a tough opponent. Using the external radars will of course extend its capabilities a lot, but it will be able to engage you even without them, in a more limited mode though.

  13. Ah, I see what you mean. It's by design meant to always have the GMLRS front. It's a sort of camouflage, to make it harder for the enemy to know if you're loaded with GMLRS or ATACMS.
  14. I'll take a look, but if I were to guess I think it's because of the more advanced radar with multiple channels I'm using (compared to the Tunguska and Tor M1). The CA interfaces doesn't really work perfectly with these features. So it might just stay a known issue until CA is updated. Just like the cockpit player control of the Pantsir and Tor M2, which also doesn't use the radar as the AI asset. But I still implemented the player control feature as a somewhat limited functionality is still much better than none at all.
  15. If you are talking about the issue with the ATACMS missile missing after its been launched and reloaded, that's been fixed. I just ran a test and it seem to work as it should, the covers are being replaced after a reload.
  16. Hey! Thanks, the missing gun sound is a known issue. It works in development, but something stops it from working in the other environments. But it'll get fixed. The performance of the Pantsir should be much better than before the update though, before it was getting too confused when faced with many targets at once, this has been fixed. I'll take a look at the missiles though.
  17. It's because the assets in my mod packs doesn't have a Level Of Detail (LOD) configuration. Using this technique the models will be replaced with ones with much less polygons the further away they are. Without LODs your computer will have to calculate the max poly version of the asset regardless of the distance to you. My core DCS assets all have LODs, and I'm currently adding it to the mod packs also, but it'll take a while before it will be done to all of them.
  18. Hey! They are both guided precision strike munitions. And since they are pretty accurate, they will hit close to the target spot. If you want to hit a wider area, which is preferable with the cluster munitions, just create several 'Fire at Point' tasks with one round per launch. Make sure to spread them around the area you want to hit.
  19. I appreciate when these more obvious issues are found, because it makes the asset more realistic with mostly just a simple fix.

  21. Thanks, I’ll take a look! Edit: You're correct. The current configuration is both right and wrong. I set the gun to known specifications, which include the capability for indirect fire to around 5000 meters. But the current configuration allows the 5000 meters shot to be made in direct fire mode, which isn't correct. Edit 2: On top of the HESH round, I'm going to add the HE-T for indirect fire at longer ranges.
