  2. Quick status update. I'm working on the US pack update, but some of the assets take some time, especially the ships. I will therefore most likely release an updated Ukraine pack update before the US pack. It will contain fixes for some issues and a couple of new assets like the BRDM-2L1.

  5. As you might imagine I'm doing a lot of testing, especially units vs units. So I switch their faction around all the time. And I do it exactly as @Abburo, by using the 'Combined Joint Task Forces Blue' and 'Combined Joint Task Forces Red'. Every unit, no matter the configured country, will show up if you use these two. Another great advantage of using this method is that you don't risk messing up your DCS installation, we have enough of those issues already.

  7. On a general note. I test all my 170 assets simultaneous to make sure they don't conflict. If someone experience disappearing units or CTD it's most likely the case of having old versions of my assets installed, or other makers mods that conflict. In both these scenarios the solution is to be found on the user end. Thanks! I agree, the model isn't perfect, but we have yet to see it in real life also. You are totally correct on the NSM launchers, I forgot to think, haha. They're even pointed inwards on the reference pictures I'm using, as external launchers usually are. The Admiral is a great guy and we chat a lot. But we make the assets we want, the way we want. We don't have a joint venture or anything like that.
  8. Unfortunately it needs to go into the DCS folder (not saved games). The location path is saved in the zip.
  9. I have gone through every single weapon and radar for all assets and tweaked all the parameters to make them more coherent and realistic. I've based my changes on all available OSINT, like the one you are referring to. Unfortunately there will take some time for me to make all these changes available since I update one country pack at a time.

  11. I can confirm. Looks like it won't point towards the target (inside the traverse limits) even though I set it up correctly in ME.

  13. The target is most likely outside of AWACS coverage. If you want to fire at targets outside of its coverage (i.e by satellite navigation), you need to use the 'Attack Group' command. I just tried it, and it worked fine against a target 485 nm away.
  14. Good catch! I've done some testing myself and it seems like some ships can't be detected until around 35-40 nm. So they're not invisible, only harder to see at longer range. I've tested both mods and in-game assets and the results are all over the place. I also noticed that if you add AWACS support to your side the AI will pick up the ships at normal ranges. I will continue to investigate. Edit: I found the issue.
  15. Yep, I added a Ka-52 with only the cannon and a couple of trucks. If you're using the Ka-52K remember that it defaults to antiship and not CAS.

  17. That is correct. I thought he did a very good job and the project is interesting. So I gave him permission and help out where I can.
  18. It's WIP, and I'm no expert. But I'm going for the M2A3 without the extra heavy BUSK armor.
