  1. I like the jet engine intake on the front of your PC case.
  2. That's one way to get it done.:)
  3. Continue this and you will be very well respected. +1 my good sir!
  4. This guy: http://www.johnweeks.com/a9a/a9ausaf_bg.jpg http://www.aviastar.org/pictures/usa/northrop_a-9.gif
  5. Or even a view down the barrel/launcher that follows the burst of rounds/missile when they are launched. Maybe?
  6. I stand corrected. It is so on the non-pro version as well. Guess I have to do more :book:
  7. Seconded!:pilotfly:
  8. I've sat in a military-grade F-15A simulator, and the finger guards were needed to go into AB as well as fuel cut off.
  9. Note that I have the non-pro version, but I think this still applies. That button can't be programmed at all. That is called the "clutch" button and is used for switching profiles without using the profile manager. Push it and the LED on the lower hat on the stick begins blinking. When this happens, you can use that hat to cycle up/down through the profiles. Left clears the profile and right selects the one currently displayed in the list.
  10. All three of those look fake to me.
  11. Is that fixed or rotary wing?
  12. :megalol:
  13. Of course they would! Come join the fun and welcome aboard!
  14. Just install an mp3 player in your cockpit. That's what I'm gonna do!:D:pilotfly:
  15. Don't worry, I have the paper version!:bash: And I have two copies of the FAR/AIM, and the Private Pilot Manual, and...... Well, you get the picture:pilotfly: Being and aerospace engineering student helps too.
  16. Your friendly CAP would take care of airborne threats. Shoulder SAMs and SHORAD can't get you at angles 20.
  17. Just a clarification: the AoA displayed in the cockpit has nothing to do with the horizontal stab. As Pyroflash said, the AoA is the angle between relative wind and the longitudinal axis.
  18. That seems like an interesting, and valid, concept. But there is also the risk of cooking your entire card.
  19. Gotcha
  20. :megalol::megalol:
  21. I was aware of that, but would the supersonic air physically break blades off?
  22. Would the vibrations from the shockwaves break blades off?
