  1. Occasionally I do see this issue, and it can be as subtle as an elevated heartbeat/pulse causing a slight movement of the HMD. It's mainly noticeable to me at least, when stationary. I have just upped the shaking reduction to -20%, and it seems to alleviate the issue for me.
  2. Hi, many thanks. I was more thinking about the map capture feature working in VR. I gave it a really quick try, but it didn't appear to work. Which kind of makes sense as I'm guessing it would need to be able to read the 3d mirror output window.
  3. You need the parking brake on for alignment, regardless.
  4. Window's Firewall running on the dedicated server?
  5. Fundamentally, yes. That file controls the config of the features. Re the NVG stuff, I've never used it in this mod. I think you should be fine to just leave it disabled as is.
  6. Agreed, that was why I asked. I did find it "System" -> "Override Resolution". Thanks, I wouldn't of seen it.
  7. Just to clarify, when you say "Use the toolkit for custom res" are you referring to using NIS or FSR with the percentage set to get to 3300-3600? Currently, a G2 user but have an Aero enroute so am just trying to get some info ahead of swapping over. I am currently using OXR and OXRTK with the G2.
  8. Is the parking brake on?
  9. I'm guessing this doesn't work in VR?
  10. I'd strongly suggest you use OVGME or another mod manager.
  11. Yeah, realised when I reread and updated my reply.
  12. Yup works well, and the fontsize for menus and fps display appears smaller, which is good IMHO.
  13. Perhaps a slightly dumb question but will this fit on a warbrd base? Apologies, just realised this is the grip and base. Please disregard.
  14. No idea if it's related but the radio comms appear broken too. Request landing elicits no response. Not been using the Harrier for long so not sure if this ever worked tbh.
  15. That's a fair point. You could look at Digital Ocean, AWS or Azure as a hosting solution Digital Ocean I've never used, but I think they're reasonably priced and can offer bandwidth guarantees as well as you being able to choose the "size" of the VM you would like, DNS and/or a static IP.
  16. Depending on your requirements it's perfectly feasible to run one on a reasonably modern laptop and your home Internet connection.
  17. I did use it a year or so ago briefly, but wasn't happy with the single eye rendering.
  18. I didn't really measure performance tbh. Just started a night carrier mission in the hornet and toggled the flood and chart lights on, they only rendered in the right eye. Using the latest OB.
  19. Just did a quick test and for me at least, the Hornet flood and chart lights still only render in the right eye with this enabled.
  20. You can put the miz wherever you wish. Then, just load it in the mission editor and fly.
  21. I agree that coming from say the Hornet it does seem odd, however this video (and the associated miz file) helped me enormously.
  22. You're right. For me personally, it's not comfortable
  23. Sorry the 60hz thing just hurts, I wish it didn't. Even a CRT monitor at 60hz these days is painful. Having two of them strapped to my head and a few CMs away from my eyes is even worse [emoji50]
  24. Correct and set the relevant value in _HMD.hsl for the level of Albedo SS you require
