  1. Ok, I am going to test it and attach the playback track, the problem is that this is very difficult to reproduce, because sometimes it crashes and sometimes it works. It is an occasional thing.
  2. I use TWS to identify, block, select the target. Once identified and locked up simple, I turn on JHMCS, and prepare the attack, four miles, no tone, three miles, no tone, two miles, no tone, evasive start, I fire flares, crossing, half a mile, I aim my helmet, there is no tone, the sensor does not detect the heat source. This happens randomly, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
  3. I'm having multiplayer issues with the AIM-9X's helmet and heat sensor. They do not detect the heat source of targets within 2 miles, even at the junction. This happens randomly. I am using TWS radar mode. Just to clear doubts, YES, I am using lock / unlock
  4. In that sense we all agree. If development consumes platform time and resources, there are other priorities. I am simply saying that it would be an interesting role, both for the bomber and for the bomber interceptor. The mission would end, but another would begin.
  5. Yes, curiously the lights are more visible the greater the distance. However, it is much better than what we had at the beginning, at least now it is more difficult to collide with planes taking off from the opposite runway header :) Hope this improves.
  6. Cold start only on official missions considered serious. For dedicated testing or training, I can even appear already in the air or on the ground with the engines running. But automatic start, no.
  7. Would they drop $ 30,000 worth of bombs into the sea just to make a perfect landing? EDIT: I have made the question wrong. I mean, I know there are standards to be followed for safety, but I can't believe it's unsafe to land with a bomb on a wing.
  8. It shouldn't end the game for everyone if the defending team makes good defense. That is the concept. Also, in DCS nothing ends, the planes do not end and no one dies. When one mission ends, another begins. Perhaps knowing that an airplane is approaching with a nuclear weapon would incentivize the opposing side. It would be great to know that I have prevented the destruction of several cities by intercepting the bomber. If a nuclear weapon falls on a target, it means that the opposing side has not done its job. Also, the weapon restriction depends on the person editing the mission. I participate in servers that have restricted JDAM and JSOW for being too powerful. It has already been clear that it will not be implemented, but in the hypothetical case that it was, to be realistic, it would only place one of those bombs per mission. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to include this as a response to comment #5
  9. I have a much smaller PC than yours and it works without problems. Windows settings, (Privacy) all background tasks disabled) Power control, maximum performance. Antivirus, exclusion of DCS folders in program files and saved games. Virus scanning can slow down the simulator. Updates, advanced settings, (they do not allow downloads from other computers) With this you get that Windows does not use your bandwidth. Keep in mind that I am not a PRO of onformatics, so all this I have been collecting for three years and are advice from unofficial sources that in my case help DCS to function better. And lastly, use the presets from the simulator control panel. The default settings always work better than manual settings.
  10. I also have MSI Dragon Center and I have no performance problems, but I could not do without it because it is the software that allows me to adjust the fans and cooling in game mode. If I didn't activate it, my PC would scorch. However, the latest NVIDIA drivers speed up my GPU like never before. On the other hand, there is the version of Windows 10 2019 that in my case works well, but there are those who have had problems. Bignewy opened a thread advising to restore the NVIDIA control panel to defaults after updating Windows 10 2019. Maybe this helps.
  11. Prueba con esto: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3196986/
  12. Si, acabo de hacer una prueba en el editor, los he colocado sobre un lago en el mapa de Siria y gran parte de ellos está sumergida. Supongo que colocados en el mar o en aguas con más profundidad, estarían completamente sumergidos.
  13. Now you said it well, you called it passion and not nationalistic blindness. Well, I honestly think your intention was not to offend. I apologize.
  14. The normal thing is that virtual squads like the Blue Angels, fly with the model of their unit, instead of taking another model and painting it blue and it is not nationalistic blindness, they even take out a mod to represent the cockpit. The virtual Eagle patrol also prefers to fly with the plane of its unit, than to take any other and paint it orange and gray and it is not nationalist blindness either. This is completely normal for 99% of military aviation enthusiasts.
  15. I don't think it was necessary to use memes to express yourself. I think you've started to be disrespectful. The moment you said "nationalisms don't blind you" should have blocked you. If you're not going to respect opinions, don't post polls. Someone who is not excited to fly the plane of his country and calls it "nationalist blindness" does not deserve another minute of my time.
  16. It is not "nationalism" it is called illusion. The same illusion as the child who has a firefighter dad and goes to the toy store to buy a fire engine like his dad's.
  17. Thanks for your interest and contributing this image Flappie. But I did more than show a photo, I gave them the improved and corrected files and folders. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13j-HrlE6bpvLtHFprRttdg7hXXcR-Qtf?usp=sharing
  18. Thread completely abandoned, unanswered and meaningless. A request to correct and improve a real painting. Why do I have to see fictional paintings of the Hornet in my general archives and can't have a real high-fidelity painting? Two years since the Hornet was launched with incorrect paintings, something that would take five minutes to correct.
  19. An outside model is enough to break the dive. For me, he would not be a true 12th Wing fighter at the Torrejón base. In fact, the Eurofighter will be my next module, if the improved UH-1H doesn't come out first. Many people like to fly the plane that represents them and not put skin to a model by becoming fictional. I have been pretending that the Mirage 2000 was a Mirage F1, or a Eurofighter, for a long time, because until the launch of the Hornet, Spain did not have a fourth generation fighter. I am in favor of working on airplanes that are operational in most countries so that the entire community feels represented. From the utmost respect.
  20. Do we know anything about the intent and timeframe to fix the issue preventing ground units from moving through waypoints? It is not a hostile question, quite the contrary. I only pretend to know this to stop wasting time doing internal tests and spend that time doing other types of exercises. Thank you.
  21. I am glad that at that time ED opted for the Hornet and not the Super Hornet, because the Super Hornet is only operational (to my knowledge) in the United States and Australia and that allows Spanish and Canadian virtual pilots to have the possibility of operate with the aircraft that represents them. Having Hornet, I would not be interested in a Super Hornet.
  22.
  23. 290 miles between the two furthest airports. Fairly reasonable. Only this time they haven't added any additional generic terrain beyond the area depicted. Valleys, mountains, unpaved mountain roads, lakes with moss and sand in the background. It is a great map. The only thing I'm missing is a functional infantry.
  24. I would say that DCS is in a good moment graphically although in many aspects it can improve. The Caucasus map is free, so you can't ask for too much, it's a gift. I would complain about something that looks bad on a $ 50 map. Graphically we are seeing great progress. I see a huge improvement in quality and performance, but there are many things that can be improved. The infanteía, for example, needs to improve a lot both graphically and technically.
  25. If you have 8-position POV, but only have one thumb, you won't be able to use sights at the same time as you switch weapons or do some other sort of simultaneous selection. The problem is not the number of buttons, the problem is when you have to do two things at once with a single thumb. I, for example, have the countermeasures and the speedbrake in POV. If I used POV to look back, I could not launch countermeasures or adapt my speed for a better turn. TrackIR is essential.
