As they have said, navigation is the main thing. Insert waypoints, tacan, radios, etc, but after that, you can't go anywhere if you don't know how to defend yourself in the air, therefore the priority is radar, datalink and missiles. If you don't know how to defend yourself in the air, I don't think the multiplayer enemy will allow you to go into an area to do an air-to-ground attack. It will never reach its destination.

You're right, it will depend on the humidity. I've also seen videos of dusty landings and takeoffs, but not this dense white powder. A less dense arid colored powder, not white, visible for several kilometers would be fine.
-
I wanted to comment on something that I have long suspected is not real. The effect of dust on the UH-1H is exaggerated, both flying a few meters above the ground, and taking off and landing. This is somewhat annoying, which also reveals our position. To demonstrate this, I am attaching two videos. The first is the dust effect on DCS and the second is a true low fly and landing.

I'm going to be direct. If you just want to fly, you can do it without TrackIR. But if you want to be competitive, you need it. You're not always going to knock down a contact at 12. When the two merge, whoever has TrackIR will have the advantage.

Sorry for the inconvenience, the strip always appears when scanning targets at 12. I make a turn and the area is visible again. Thank you. EDIT: I mean by this, I accept that I was doing it wrong.

After the update I also had problems with (ACM) and the radar distance range that could not be increased or decreased. The AIM-9X sensor was unable to find the heat source of a Ka-50 within 1 mile. I removed FXO, Metashaders, restarted the simulator and everything worked again. I'm not ruling out new bugs because this seems to be random.
-
I did not know. I tried to do it like in Matt Wagner video but ran into this problem. Thank you very much.

AIM-9X Sensor, Radar Range and ACM are back to normal in my last test. But the EXP 1,2,3 ground radar mode still shows a central stripe that prevents you from seeing the area on the screen.

I have done a quick test of the last update and I have observed the following: 1. The AIM-9X heat sensors have a very hard time detecting heat source. 2. After using Air Ground radar, Air Air radar does not allow you to increase or decrease the scanning range. 3. The air-to-ground radar screen in EXP1, 2, and 3 modes shows a central stripe that obstructs targets. 4. ACM modes do not seem to work with sight contacts, you have to switch to GUNS and then switch to missile to catch a contact. Test performed on the map of Syria.

[iNS DEGD] Alert Has anything changed during system startup and startup?
-
It's working fine now, which surprises me because I dropped this issue to report today after all weekend testing. If I notice the problem again, I will attach a recording track for your review. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Ok, it may be related to lack of RAM. I have 16GB and this always happens after ten to thirty minutes of mission. But in the tests that I am doing attacking as a priority target at the beginning of the TEST, everything works fine. It may be because of my RAM. Sorry if there is no mistake. I have to fly the entire mission to rule out this issue, which will take a bit of time to attach the video.

After attacking these items with any weapon, there is a brutal drop in overall performance. I do not know what can produce it, perhaps it is reacted with the damage model. If you wish, I can attach a video.

Work and mistakes pile up. Now we have a map of Syria, we have an attack and transport helicopter that can't do anything because the ground troops have barely evolved since the first version of the simulator. I can't think of anything a UH-1H can do in Syria if the troops don't work. Troops have not been a priority because they are not a module that people pay for. However, they are essential in the development of missions that go beyond taking off and killing a few baddies for fun.

Yes, if it is about getting closer to reality.

Syria Map Thanks for the introduction to the map of Syria. The (temporary) structure established by 104 in this new scenario is perfect. Thank you.

The darker the night, the better the stars look, it's not ridiculous, it's called science.

i7 7700 16GB RAM GTX 1060 6GB here it moves almost perfect and my computer is not from NASA.

I edit my own missions and sometimes I open a server to share them. If you open the list of servers, you will see quite a few in the Syria scenario. Personally, to fly in multiplayer, I look for servers with human versus human role. I am not interested in public servants in the fight against artificial intelligence.

The map is impressive, but ... Today I am going to spend most of my time finding out if the problems with the infantry are unique to Syria or are they general problems. The transport helicopter missions are pretty useless at the moment because the infantry does not behave according to their assignment. SOLVED
