  1. No worries!! Thank you again for helping out. It was all me, I didn't copy/paste, but typed I in the old fashioned way because I had already added the line and only edited the name of the CH-47.
  2. Got it working, but be careful the font is a little deceiving. I was reading it as CH-47Fb"eleven", but it is actually CH-47Fb"lower-case L one"
  3. That is probable the issue on my case. I'll check tonight after work! Thanknyou!!
  4. We been trying to get the CH-47 to do logistics in Pretense as well. Added it to the PlayerLogistics same as you, but no joy.
  5. Happens to me as well. My work around is to hit the "ESC" key, which will bring up the pointer. I move the mouse off the "ESC" menu. And then close the menu. The pointer should stay visible.
  6. Two things to try/consider. Try cleaning the lenses thoroughly. Some folks are reporting some "glue" left behind by the plastic protective cover used for shipping. Also try re-seating toe lenses. Some have reported that the lenses in their hmd were not seated correctly when installed.
  7. Thanks @Johnny Dioxin for pointing that out.
  8. @Calvin.Pimax Is there any word if a credit or discount will be given to Crystal Light users that want to move up to the Super when it arrives?
  9. So I ran a few tests of DCS both Multi-Thread and Single Thread at native 72Hz and 90Hz locked at 1/2 (45Hz). I flew The Spitfire in Free Flight over the Channel because I am very familiar with it and how my PC performs in that situation. The overall impression is that Single Thread DCS is performing on par or better then Multi Thread DCS currently, which was not and should not be the case. Dropping down low over the Channel is guaranteed to tank my FPS. Prior to the last patch I could expect my FPS to drop to between 45-50 fps on Multi-thread DCS, where now with the current version, my FPS will drop down to between 30-35 fps in the same situations on Multi-Thread or 40-45 fps on the Single Thread DCS. I'm attaching my log files for the 4 different flights and my current DXDiag file. DxDiag.txt dcs_MT_45Hz.log dcs_MT_72hz.log dcs_ST_45Hz.log dcs_ST_72Hz.log
  10. I too have seen a general performance drop in VR since the last patch. I ended up locking my HMD's refresh rate at 45Hz just to make it playable, when previously I could run at unlocked at 72Hz. I will try to get a log and dxdiag for you tonight.
  11. Pimax Crystal Light.
  12. Unfortunately there are a couple of possible factors at work here. Pimax Play, nVidia drivers, and the most recent DCS patch all happened in close succession, making it hard to nail down a possible cause. I ser that you are not running a Pimax HMD, but @Chief_Biv is, so that might point us toward the Pimax Play update. Hopefully we'll get a few more comments to see if a trend surfaces.
  13. Just wondering if anyone is seeing a FPS drop since the DCS 2.9.6.58056 Hot Fix. I might just be me, but I'm pretty sure I'm losing 10+FPS on average since the patch.
  14. If you are running OpenXR ToolKit as, try "disabling" it with the Disable Check box prior to launching DCS.
  15. With VR currently it's AMD for the CPU and nvidia for the GPU. The current best CPU for games/VR is the 7800x3d. As side note, the 9800x3d is rumored to drop by the end of the year.
  16. Emily@ Pimax (emily532) can be found in the #purchasing-questions channel on the Pimax Official discord. And in the #techsupport channel on the Pimax Crystal Light VR Hub discord. @Calvin.Pimax can you get @Johnny Dioxin an invite to the Pimax Crystal Light VR Hub discord?
  17. Have you joined the crystal light discord? If so reach out to Emily@Pimax for help.
  18. Same for me and the Crystal Light.
  19. Okay, had a chance to play around a little and I have some good news and bad news. Bad news: Re-center doesn't keep your line of sight, meaning if you are looking up or down it won't work the way you want. Good news: Another good work around. Re-center moves your view opposite the way you are currently looking, so if you are looking 90 degrees right it will shift your view 90 degrees left after you hit re-center resulting with you looking out the left side of your cockpit. My suggestion is that when you need to get closer to your MFD's in the cockpit, is to look up and hit re-center. This will drop your head lower into your cockpit while still facing forward resulting in a better view of your dashboard/mfds, while still giving you a view forward. Hope that helps.
  20. Just reread your post further up, and I'm not sure if it save looking up/down, but when I get on my PC later I will check. Try this as a work around... Instead of "looking up" - try looking forward and raising or lowering your head physically by sitting up higher or crouching down in your seat, then hit the recenter. That will lower you pilots head in the cockpit and hopefully alleviate some of your neck strain.
  21. Hey Dangerzone, you might find this thread very helpful. It will help you set your default seat/camera position in VR. Also, the re-enter button will move you head/camera in a the X,Y, and Z axis. In addition to turning you head, you can physically move your head right/left, up/down, and forward/backwards and the new center point will be based on your new physical location.
  22. To the Eagle Dynamics Team: Thank you for all of your hard work providing me with hours of entertainment and enjoyment, and for taking the time to try to deliver a more satisfying patch. To all of the overly entitled armchair game developers: Give it a rest. Maybe ED should go back to a 2 version model. The Beta branch with multiple updates per year for people with reasonable expectations in regards to delays and a Stable Branch with a single annual update for anyone not willing to manage expectations and need a solid release date.
